tdayof:the forest cover in kenya has reduced to about 6% and this year after kenya realized our rivers were drying up and there was continuing dry spells around the country.so the government, institutions, private sector e.t.c have committed themselves to increase our forest cover to 10% as recommended by U.N. Africa does realise how much desertification is affecting them especially their security, most of our economies are sustained by agriculture sector.i believe the desertification of Northern Nigeria and neighbouring countries in the north is having negative effects on nigeria also especially security-wise. bombs and bullets wont solve anything if the real issues aren't dealt with |
