Bruhhhh you are only one train ride away from Oxford, you better make good use of that opportunity before it's too late.

Other words for Dominant: presiding, ruling, governing, controlling, commanding, ascendant, supreme, authoritative, most influential, most powerful, superior.

These are words you can use to describe what Pep has done to his competition in the League this season.

I don't need to visit Oxford to know you are very wrong.
This was your comment I quoted.

chic2pimp:

Absolutely nothing. He continues to dominate every league He plys his trade in. Not only does He utterly dominate, He does it with a splendid brand of attacking footy.

You said he he continue to dominate every league he ply his trade in. And I say it's a lie. He might have dominated burndisleaguedown which even my grandmother can do with bayern but not EPL. You can't dominate a league you were in for 2 years and only just about winning it for the first time. That's not dominance, moreover the other league domestic competitions he won just 1 out of 6. How is that dominance? If you said he has been dominant this season in the league, we will agree, but to say he has dominated the English league is a fat lie.

By the end of 2012 Jose has spent 2 seasons in laliga and just wrapped up the league with a record point total. Will you say he has dominated Laliga? You can say he dominated that season not dominating the league. Check your grammar bro

He did not.

By match day 35 he was only 4points ahead of Barca with a game at Nou Camp coming up.

Yes he won the league with 100points but Barca had 91 and drew the last game of the season after losing 2-1 to RM 3 games prior.

So the league was not wrapped up by December. Barca beat RM more times than RM beat them. Barca won the spanish cup. Barca conceded less goals than RM.

we have some decisions to make when it comes to Martial and the piano man.
I was having that talk with somebody, can't remember who for here.
in the big matches like this who the manages plays is important cause na trust be that.

maybe in the off-season Jose can come up with a strategy to find a way to accommodate him for starting line up and hope it works for the team.
I just they reason say all the wingers for Bayern Munich Don old finish this boy fit jump ship.

It is simple: Rio was the best defender in 2001 (atleast in England). Fergie knew he had to pay heavy to price him out of Leeds.

VVD is regarded by many as the Rio of today (in England) and was purchased for £75M.

Let's even agree that Rio is worth that amount in today's market.

How many players did SAF buy in that summer 2002/03 season?

Did he also buy new set of full backs for almost 150m? Did he also buy another centre back worth of Laporte in January transfer window?

You've been hammering this since. Did SAF spend this worth of money in two seasons or one season. Bring out a season where SAF even spend 100m.

If you were getting the gist of the convo your questions will be redundant.

Fergie yanked RVP for £24M. Today that is like getting Salah or Kane on the last year of their contract. He would have paid at least £60M.

Wayne Rooney at £30M+ 2004 will be 2.5 times with English hype.

I can go on and on. That £500M he spent in his whole career would easily surpass £2B in today’s market.

Pep lovers should stop telling us he is dominating.. By the way were where they last year? Glory hunting minions crawling out from their cess pits now trying to rewrite history as if last season didn't happen.

When Ferguson won the treble in 1999 can we Also ask why he didn't win it in 1998, 97 96 etc

Lol. I tot I was the only one that saw that ridiculous post. He downplayed the teams winnings and ended up mentioning a team that never played any finals.
He forgot that if not for ovrebo and that stupid ref that sent RVP off against Barca in 2011, pep would have no UCL till date

You should also not forget that for ridiculous offside calls, like the Paul Scholes disallowed goal, Mourinho would not have a single CL title

You should ask yourself that. One can't just come out and say a car cost $100,000 10 years ago, now it should $10 mil. Back to the topic, by what and what is your valuation based on. How did you arrive at a proper value of what a defender cost then and what he will cost now? Infact in football the price for a defender has been relatively moderate that your assertion looks weird.

So to buy a Peugeot car in 1990 cost N20k so you expect to buy a similar Peugeot car today for the same 20k price as in 1990

Baba the car will cost more as several factors influence prices of cars over several years but how Eruditor can say it will cost so and so amount now is what I can't wrap my head around. How is he able to come up with a figure?

These Pep fanboys are crying hard.

The Pep fanboys can't defend his massive spending so they set out to diminish Fergie and rope him into the spending argument.

The Pep fanboys can't understand how his expensively assembled defense is shipping in goals by the truckload so they throw in Rio for £30 million in 2002, and try with warped logic to say it would cost £1 billion to sign said defender. With no correlation to any mathematical indices whatsoever.

The Pep fanboys crew can't understand why after so much spending he can't take City past the quarters of the CL in successive seasons despite his successor losing by 1 goal to the eventual champs in the semis of the same competition.

His Royal Spendthrift Cheque Fraudiola

Next season na to spend die.

Stop trying to clever by half, he didn't start winning trophies in England from 1999, for christ sake he had won the league in 92/93, 93/94, 95/96, 96/97, 98/99. and the FA cup about four times before 1999. That is total dominace. His sheer class was there for all to see so you can't even say were where they last season? Bro It doesn't have to come to this.

Fergie won three doubles between 1994 and 1999.

If Fergie took the FA Cup a lot more seriously we won't be having this debate.

Don't mind them.

They say he gives youth a chance. He has ditched the Zinchenko experiment already. Or maybe his youth policy is based on spending ridiculous amounts on unproven young players and misusing them (e.g £50 million on Sterling to play as striker, £47 million on Stones to sit on bench,£57 million on Laporte to play left back)

None of his starting or bench players who featured yesterday came from the said academy.

And he claims to be an Erudite. How he comes up with figures players in the past cost and then bodly tells us that is what so and so on the last year of his contract would have cost now. Hell dude doesn't even sound like he listens to himself before making these unverifiable claims. Before the Neymar deal nobody ever thought players would cost northwards of €200mil in this era, after the Neymar deal, market has seen prices go up but that doesn't mean what dembele cost in the TW last year is what a young skillful player say from the 90's who hasn't achieved anything will cost now. For all we know the figure could be anything except certain indices are used to determine the actual figure it will be now. The same way these indices by CIES observatory have been used to predict what Lukaku, Rashford, martial and several players might cost now. If he had given us that to back his wild statements, atleast it would make some sense since experts have actually analyzed this with whatever factors they used to reach a sensible figure. Imagine saying RVP's cost some 6 years ago cost is what Salah will cost now.. I can't even make sense out of it.

It is justified conjecture.

Maradona was bought for £5M in 1984 (before WC 86 so fully in his prime). That was a world record fee. Only a mischievous person will now say the Napoli coach never spent as much as Allegri to win a title seeing that Higuain was bought for £75M in 2016.

How will Fergie buy a star £1M in 1988 which may have been a world record. Then someone, in 2018 will say Fergie only spent £1M and Manager X Y Z has spent £30M on one player.

What a logical person will ask is if £30M today is a world record fee? If it is not, then bringing up Fergie's spending today is illogical. QED.

You'd expect a manager who people say is wonderful with young players to atleast have brought one through that is even making cameos match after match.. Mctominay ended the match yesterday but Mourinho is the youth killer. Leave the Pep fanboys to be yarning opaks

When we see facts we call them.

Pep was lucky to encounter Messi. He hasn't won the Champions league without him, but we are supposed to bow down and lick his feet.

The youths in City have no hope of breaking into the first team and establishing themselves.

Pogba Lingard McTominay Rashford all played yesterday.

No youth player even made the bench for City yesterday

You are asking redundant questions.

If Ibra was the record fee for a striker in 2008 his valuation is similar to Lukaku's. Dani Alves for Kyle Walker's and so on considering they were the record fees for their positions. Logical reasoning is not hard.

All these questions about mathematical whatever is unfounded I may even say nonsensical because we are not evaluating fiscal inflation but the market today compared to whenever is being discussed.
