Apply for remarking in writing. Go to British Council office, fill the form and raise a draft of 15k at any bank near their office. An increase in your writing score to 7 will increase your CRS by up to 50 points.

Hello house keep up the good work. Pls I need to ask a few questions, I can see people here saying to score more mark in the education section one shld go register on noun uni for a PhD one yr. So what I wanna ask is, if I register at noun now , can I start my application process already . And I shld go ahead to choose that option of two or more certificate. Also does this mean I be to send my bsc for evaluation . While I am still awaiting noun PhD cert.

Do you have a masters degree? If yes, send it for evaluation.

Please just a quick question
I have sufficient funds for POF in mutual fund. I have a letter from them. I have also got six month ave balance from my bank showing small funds. 100% POF will come from my mutual funds. I’m wondering if I still need to send an LOE stating my POF will be covered solely by my investment with Mutual funds??

It won't hurt. It's best to have a table of all your funds and clearly show the POF.

Something like:

LETTER OF EXPLANATION ON PROOF OF FUNDS

Funds from Fixed deposit. xxxxx NGN
Funds from Mutual Funds. xxxxx NGN
Funds from 25% Pension xxxxx NGN
Total Proof of funds. xxxxx NGN
Exchange Rate. x 280
Total Proof of funds in CAD. xxxxx CAD
Other monies 1 Bank. xxxxx NGN
2 Bank xxxxx NGN
Exchange Rate x280
Total Other Monies xxxxx CAD

Something like that. You can modify as you like to pass across your message clearly. The issue is for them not to miss anything or assume what is not your intention.

The name of the exam is IELTS
The bodies conducting it in Nigeria are
1 . British Council
2.IDP/MOD

You can decide to write with any one of them.
Thank you

Thanks bro, I will keep practicing then

quote author=123abcclown post=66485914]

I don't know so much, I only had a 7.5; But I feel the most important thing about the speaking is for the candidate to speaking naturally.

I had a big hiccup during the second part (the part where you are handed a task card) as I barely spoke for 1 minute.

I honestly didn't really prepare for the speaking. I checked videos on youtube and looked through the official ielts website to know what the examiner look out for. I also notably practiced with a friend a day to my test for about 2 hours.[/quote]

So sorry bro, I understand how you feel. The truth is FPI is one of the "reliable & time-conscious" school when it comes to WES matter. I had mine verified almost immediately (they got the mail on Friday and Verification was done on Monday). Mind you, this was possible through the help of an insider who did a follow up from the day I applied till the time of verification. I'll simply advise you to get an insider to help you do a follow up, I hope u know you have to pay 24K+ for the verification of the two. All the best brother.

Thanks Brova, I appreciate.

I submitted the 24k receipt like 4 days after I got mail from WES that they are awaiting verification from my institution. I will just get an insider as advised.

Thank you

This is very true.
Just to add, i found this site's (https://www.ielts-mentor.com/writing-sample/writing-task-2) sample answers very helpful. Both my Writing Task 1 & 2 questions were somewhat covered in their samples.

Long time guys! For those in the Feb 24 IP2, how's the waiting o?

For us, update to application has come in the form of a baby boy... wink

Congrats on your bundle of joy grin

Quick question for you, did you mention/nurse asked for your EDD during medicals? If you gave that information, my guess is that CIC probably knew you were expecting a baby soon so they decided to wait for the delivery so you could add him on file and have everyone get their copr at once. I am sure ppr will come immediately you complete his addition.

To the house, did anyone get ppr ~3 weeks to EDD?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 3 by CheekyGirl: 12:22pm On Apr 08, 2018
You can get all the answers you need from the CIC website itself. You need to do your own research especially after you KNOW WHY YOU WANT TO GO TO CANADA (I am hoping you want to do 'this Canada stuff' because you think it's what's best for you and your family, and not because everyone is doing it).

You can start your research from these links:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry.html

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/works.html

Follow other links on the page to learn more and then come back to ask specific questions. Only then can people here help you.

Thanks for your response once more. Was wondering if I should prepare LOE for visa refusals & attach refusal letters? Are there other areas one would need LOE for?

Hello house, please your feedback on this question will be much appreciated.
Chaerin:
Hello, house!
Please, I need your input on the POF issue. I will be receiving money from a family member for my POF and I intend to deposit the funds into a fixed deposit account, attaching the certificate as well as a notarized gift deed for my application. My question is how long do I have to fix the funds for? will 3 months be okay, bearing in mind that this is my only POF, or should I go for 6 months? Thank you very much!

based on previous answers to this question....general response is go for remark asap or within 6 weeks of receipt of results, if you are financially buoyant register for another exam....about 75% or more positive feedback in terms of increase in their scores after remark

Damn!

I think you should ask for a remark and sit for another exam if possible but others can advise as well

Raise a bank draft of 15k and apply for remark immediately. Your writing is bound to change.

You cannot use your scores to stay in the pool while you are doing a remark..

Once you apply for EOR, you cannot use the score for anything until it's completed and you know the outcome.

Prepare LOE for any area that you don't want them to misunderstand. Include all info necessary. There's a Schedule A I think for those with visa refusals. You can search in this thread.
