Better than even umar we av been shouting since.

I still dont know why no one is talking about him.

I disagree but Awoniyi is on the up. He scored last week too. Both players will be important in the future.

@Tbaba ...Rohr's PA grin ... Can i humbly request for the inclusion of this gem to our worldcup list ... he has been cosistent for the past six weeks with goal banging and assist . i think club performance of Awoniyi has passed the performance of Osimen ... Safari i need back up wink

Even Umar, that i have shouting up and down was not included in my WC list. Time is too short so it will be difficult for any new entrant.

Gernot Rohr is very careful about introducing new players. His March friendly list should have had a few new players but Joel Obi was the only one with a realistic chance to fight for a shirt.

Post WC, i will like to see new strikers blooded into the team. Awoniyi and Sadiq look the most ready.

Both players have improved a lot .

Samuel Kalu outshining Simon Moses again... If Rohr is watching these games, he must definitely see this.

How come you concealed the person who gave him the assist? I mean Simon Moses.

That comment was about the performances not the goal.. Both players played well today especially at the start of the game.

Please announce it to them in Sparta, tell it to them in Greece, shout it loud at them in Rome. We need Samuel Kaluuuuuuuuuu. Just Imagine front three, kalu, ighalo/ nacho and vicmo. Midfield of Mikel, Iwobi/etebo and Ndidi. Waoo, the goals will flow in surely.

This is one major point most people clamouring for new players are yet to get... There is little time left to bring in new players in the team... barring any injury,we all know how the 23 man list will b like.. .
Even in the GK department which is our biggest worry,Rohr seem to have made up his mind on Uzoho..otherwise he would have called up any of Ajiboye,Ejide and Aiyenugba...He would have even given Ezenwa some game time in the last friendly, but he stuck with Uzoho... The man knows what he is doing...

I know Lukaku in Belgium before he came to Chelsea. He already made name for himself and when he played I knew he was good but Salah was nobody when he came to Chelsea.

Salah was out of place when he played for Chelsea. Not Impressive
Salah was actually great for Basel in the champions league. That's why Liverpool and Chelsea fought for him. He wasn't that great when he got his chances at Chelsea, but he should've been given more time.

I am happy we are not dragging this one with England, Because Southgate by now would have been more Faster than NFF with his approach by inviting him and give him hope, While we are busy waiting to see him play like Messi.

They should continue sleeping till Scotland makes a swift move.

See Iwobi impact from the middle for Arsenal, involved in both goals
Playing Iwobi from the wings is just wasting his talents.

I am not a fan of both of them but how is awoniyi not better than umar? How many goal has umar scored in his career ? How many goal has awoniyi scored in his career? The umar you are talking about has not even score up to 10 goal in his footballing career and you are here saying awoniyi is not better than umar?

How do you rate strikers is it by goal scored or what else ? There is nothing special about umar,I repeat my self nothing special

Maybe you will say he got a move to as Roma didn't awoniyi got a move to Liverpool? I am not a fan of neither of them but for you to say awoniyi is not better than umar says it all

Who told you salah was nobody when he came to Chelsea ,is it the salah who scored against Chelsea home and away for fc Basel in the group stage of the Uefa champions league ?

Salah even also scored against Chelsea in the semi final of the 2012 europa league, please don't just conclude what you don't know

You know lukaku in Belgium doesn't mean you kno salah and is lukaku anderletch a better club than fc Basel who always competite in th champions league

Take note:in the 2013 uefa champions league group stage fc Basel won Chelsea home and away 2-1 and 1-0 and salah scored on both encounter

I hope you know Awoniyi and Junior Ajayi were the top strikers b4 the Olympics for the U23...Awoniyi was dropped from the squad because of umar, Ajayi also lost his starting spot to Umar...

Bro you have been watching football for a while, by now you should be able to identify and dinstiguish serious talent..sometimes a player could be a late boomer and outdo his mate in the future...based on watching awoniyi and Sadiq, I can tell you sadiq is better quality to Awoniyi...I followed Awoniyi through the u17 days to the u20 and I was his fan boy...I was even initially angry that siasia would drop awoniyi in that Olympic team..it was when the tournament started i just had to accept Sadiq was better ..

Well time would tell as both their professional career unfolds..I really do have high expectations for both of them..

Umar is a serious talent... He is above all our striking prospects at the moment in my opinion.

When i started mentioning Ebere Eze, Many dismissed it. Now he is courting the interest of major clubs like Liverpool and Tottenham. If he continues impressing, he will most likely be in the premier league next season. Then we will be in a battle with Scotland to cap him. Hopefully, the people in charge are paying attention.

Identifying talent early would save us from the hassle of battling with wealthier countries. Imagine if Dele Ali was picked early when he was showing serious talent before he moved to the premier league. We can't always wait till they get established.

Chuba has been a dissapointment promised so much but delivered so little. He couldn't make the transition from youth football to the senior game.

Had so many opportunities but has never delivered now he has gone to lower European leagues and hasn't done much.

He is far off from SE quality.

and Ighalo and ideye can both pass the ball better than the midfielders we currently have...?
Aside mikel....we can as well try iwobi there once more...he tried with his passes against the serbians...
the problem mainly was Ighalo positioning...and iwobi wasn't used to the role yet....
apart from iwobi....it won't be bad if someone like aluko can be tried....kelechi nwakali can come in after the world cup...

definetely not ideye and Ighalo...I don't see them as better passer of the ball....

why we they find wetin no lose, iwobi is obviously an AM, if Wenger can trust him there why can't we. because he had a suppose bad game against Serbia don't make him bad in that position
