Abi... All this issue of downgrading a player because he flopped at a particular club or league makes no sense... Some players just find it difficult to adjust to their new clubs/league... Its the same way humans and even animals find it difficult to adjust to new environments... But unfortunately, most club managers, owners and fans of this era are impatient.. if u don't perform well,u get kicked out.

Imagine if Mourinho had been patient enough with Salah,Lukaku and De Bryune and mentored them well....

Those 3 players you mentioned mourinho didn't give them any chance talkless of patience, patience is where by someone is playing and not delivering well, but Jose failed to give those players chance especially de bruyne and lukaku

It was after Lukaku found his feet while on loam at West Brom and Everton that Mourinho considered him worthy enough in his team... That man self...

One thing I learn about football is don't be quick to tag any one a flop when you havent given them enough game time.

I will never picked him ahead of Omeruo, him and Ekong lacks the experience as CB and their pairings always backfire, so better to pair Ekong and Omeruo or Awaziem and Balogun in case Balogun and Ekong pairing is not available for selection.

I think it should be Omeruo pairing with either Ekong and Balogun, if either of them is not available.

As at today, Salah is miles better than Victor Moses and he could be crowned the best player in the world if Liverpool wins the UEFA Champions League or reaches the finals.

But before now Victor Moses was better and popular. That is my point.

You are just been patriotic, the fact that Moses started his career in England where you see him everyday and salah was at switzerland does not make him better before maybe popular but not better

U know,if De Bryune and Salah hadn't returned to the EPL after they left Chelsea, egbon forgiveness and Southgate would have said the EPL was too big for them to flourish. .

Have you ever read were I said EPL is the only best league in the world?

All players that had a bad career at Emirates talked of how winger restricted their flow to the positions he disciplined them too.

He was doing that to Ramsey and then when Barça came for him way back and gave some analysis on his game style, PA winger got afraid, and gave Ramsey a free role which has been helping him and the team so far...

Yet PA is afraid, and the fear is the fear of the backline, he feels if he allows more freedom to some players, it would backfire. so risk taking is minimal.

Iwobi is a player that need such free role in the team.

Never has his teammates used to his strength. He looks just like one part ofbthe team that they can do without, which is not good. They understand Mineral going front than Iwobi on the wings@teammates. Dunno why Ozil don't wanna have fun and swap with him to just tweak things a Lil.

Fans know this, but don't want to admit this fact.

Glad he will outlive this team....he has age on his side...
Actually from a tactical perspective, playing Ramsey on the right was not a bad idea at that time. It was the real season that Coq - Santi pivot was successful. It also brought balance to the side. With Arteta being injured, it was impossible to play Ramsey as a CM because Coquelin isn't good at building up play and neither is Ramsey himself. That was one of the reasons Xhaka was bought.
The club have always known Ramsey stats i.e covering ground, etc was crazy.

Gent Searching For Replacement In Nigeria For Ligue 1 Bound Samuel Kalu

Top division Belgium side Gent are currently resigned to losing their talented Nigerian forward Samuel Kalu, who is close to joining a team in the French Ligue 1.

Last night Kalu scored the only goal for Gent in their 1-0 win over Club Brugge in the Belgium play-offs, and shortly after the game, a club source revealed to Owngoalnigeria.com that the 20 year old will leave the club in January.

Since joining Gent two seasons ago from Slovakian side AS Trencin, Kalu has improved tremendously with 10 goals and 16 assists in the 47 matches he has played since his move to the club.

” He is off in the summer to a French Ligue 1 team. The deal is as good as done from what I’m hearing. As a matter of fact Gent are already in the market for a new wing forward and they prefer a Nigerian”, Owngoalnigeria.com transfer expert Daniel Martins revealed.

” The transfer fee could be in the region of 8-10 million Euros with a particular percentage due to his former side AS Trencin. Gent will also demand a sell on clause in his deal when he moves to the Ligue 1 “.

Suarez was nothing more than an interesting upcoming player while at Ajax.
He became a force and came into his full element while at Liverpool. Ajax was just a starting point for him. It's just like saying C Ronaldo was world class at Sporting Lisbon.

Youre being economical with the truth or of the hand ignorant if you believe Sturridge blossomed before Liverpool. This was a kid who couldn't find his feet at Chelsea and Man city. He hardly kicked a ball in anger at both clubs until his career turn around at Liverpool where himself, Sterling and Suarez formed a dynamic attacking trident who nearly won the league.
This unraveled before our very own eyes, but somehow to suit a narrative, you want to twist facts.

Did Salah work with Klopp, Guardiola or Simione while at Roma where he contributed something like 18 goals and 14 assists? A number Moses have failed to hit at any point in his professional career.

I agree with all you said but Suarez at Ajax was not = ronaldo at sporting Lisbon, Suarez was ajax captain and score 35 goals in 33 goals in his last season and a total of 81 goals in 110 appearances before leaving for Liverpool

At his best he was never trusted to play the CB position in Gwg, always played in the RB position

Ramsey can not dictate play from deep like Jorginho, Kroos, Alonso, etc. It would've been criminal to pair Ramsey - Coquelin. The few times we did, it was Koscienly that was bringing the ball out from deep

You know what makes Salah more popular and more regarded than Moses? its the goals he score... Moses might even equal Salah for pace and dribbles but he isn't known for scoring a lot of goals...even when he was playing his normal position at Chelsea and on loan, he scorer few goals...

Nigeria is well known for producing some of the fastest and best dribblers in football but goalscoring is a problem for them..look at Musa,Simeon,Imoh Ezekiel.. even Okocha
Salah's close control and off the ball movement is better than that of Vic Moses. I'd say his decision making as well.

Simon Moses and Iwobi made almost the same type of cross for their team's game winners yesterday only on different sides.

You said arsenal bought xhaka because Ramsey is not good in dictating play, bros not true, Xhaka is played because his more physical and help shield the defence better than Ramsey.

In all attacking sense, dictating play, goal sense and even pass accuracy Ramsey is better

Suarez already became the best striker in the world when he was in the Eredivise before he went to Liverpool. Fact

It was not under Brender Rodgers he became the world best striker. Fact.

Suarez still became the world best striker in Barcelona after he left Liverpool. Fact

Sturridge already blossomed before he left for Liverpool.

Sterling is better than when he was under Brender. Fact

So, if you think Chelsea is hire and fire, why did Victor Moses suddenly became a world class player under Conte when he was nobody under Mourinho?

Na Chelsea's fault?

Chelsea doesn't like discarding players like that.

The truth remains that when Victor Moses worked under World class coaches known to develop players his stock rised. GBAM

Martinez and Conte are two case study.

Give Victor Moses chance under Guardiola, Simione or Klopp, he could be better than Salah. GBAM

Suarez under Rodgers was MUCH MUCH better than he was at Ajax and even his first season at Liverpool.

Sturridge exploded under Rodgers. Sure he was talented at Chelsea and City, but it was Rodgers that truly had faith in him as a CF.

Vic Moses just didn't work out under him. We have to remember Rodgers was after Vic Moses from as far back as when he was a youth coach at Chelsea. Rodgers even tried him out as a number 10. One thing Rodgers hinted at was that Vic Moses wasn't putting too much effort at training.

You clearly have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Coquelin was already providing all that but his passing at deep wasn't good enough.
Anyone who is familiar with Wenger knows he doesn't like playing with traditional destroyers for a while now. That's why he converted Arteta and Denilson to DMs. Why do you think he moved Carzola to a CM??
Xhaka isn't a destroyer. He's a Regista. Anyone who's watched him will tell you as much

Honestly I still back Efe on what happened in Celtic. He was rushed back from the AFCON and he made an error in a round of 16 match and those clowns made it seem like they would have won the whole champions league bar his error. He was simply made a fall guy by those jerks. Efe might not have been our main CB but he was always in the team and if not for him getting frozen out at Celtic (For a preseason own goal against Barca BTW) he would have always been in our team. Without the country's support he picked himself up and in the process dragged a club from the second division into the top flight and in the fight for second place finish. He clearly deserves the chance, added to the fact that he is not a new player and would not need time adapting.
