For mellanbites here, I doubt know how the allocation of bed spaces will look this year but if you're given the opportunity to pick a room, it's preferable you pick from (A61 - A72), preferably A63(in optimum condition) which are all on the ground floor considering fetching of water. Avoid Dungeon A80+ by all means

Ground floor low point is mosquitoes cos people upstairs will be pouring water downstairs.
My personal opinion, I prefer topmost floor A2-29 cos I stayed on that floor though.

Any floor in Block A Mellanby Hall is good except for dungeon which is from Room 83+

People are now discussing about Halls not resumption

If the school wanted to consult with the stakeholders first before reviewing the fees upwards, they'd have done that before pasting the fees schedule.

What did they do? They increased it then called for a stakeholders forum. There, they'd provide sufficient reasons why the increment should stand. Parents would be prodded to agree, and life continues.

Prepare for resumption, even the VC, Senate members know we are really behind schedule. Get your fees ready for payment, no time for propaganda & needless verbosity.

Quite funny the 'creator' of the thread is fretting over something as unimportant as the delay in admission clearance. Just so you know, payment of your acceptance fee has placed one of your legs into the school. You just sit back, take a deep breath, demand for a chilled fayrouz and a well garnished suya .

Seriously, the delay in the clearance is something one shouldn't panic about. In a day, one can get cleared and get all of these things done. Even if you are cleared at the moment, there is very little that will change other than the fact that you get to know your matric no,hall of residence and maybe a student portal gets activated for you.

All these without the 'ACTUAL' commencement of school/hostel fee payment is as pointless as the "ueue" in "queue". The only and maybe possible disadvantage to the delay is that you are unaware if your documents uploaded are credible/acceptable or not.

If you are sure none of your documents are forged/fabricated, relax abeg.
