My car has passed through thick and thin on the hands of mechanics,
From Changing of gasket to metal sound to knocking sound.

After fixing the metal sound, it started having knocking sound now somewhere in the engine I don't know, very unpleasant.

Why was the thermostat removed in the first place? Removing thermostat will cause higher fuel consumption and poor mileage.

That's the XL trim model. It's the lowest trim level in the avalon family.

Toyota 2AZ Engine[removing the thermostat will cause more carbon deposit in the engine combustion chamber.coz there’s a particular temperature a Fuel is required to burn completely. So removing the thermostat makes the engine run at a lower temperature, because the fan will always work if the engine is running ]

To cut the long story short, I met with a rewire yesterday, he told me there is a way no one will be able to start my car except me, that there is a timer he will buy and install in it.

So, house, does anyone really know what he's saying? the advantages and disadvantages? What does it ready do? Please should help. Thanks.

my brother inlaws corolla has something of such feature, it actually works with the car door once you open the door, whether the car is switched on or not, you must switch off first then press a combination of keys on dash then start the car and no problem. If you don't the car will start but in less than 5min it will switch off even in motion and it will never start again until the key combination is pressed.

it was done by a rewire in lagos I don't remember what they call it sha.

My � car (Hyundai accent 2008) just started sparking at the pulley area of the crankshaft beside the compressor (all linked to one belt with alternator)

Someone suggested crankshaft sensor but after running auto diagnostic on my car.. .nothing found.
And if u touch the crankshaft pulley it shocks (high voltage)

Any suggestions please

I will advise you to change your alternator or drive belt. Also check if any of the plug or coil wires are earthing on the engine block. But more likely the alternator belt and pulley causing a static charge. Get OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) belt. This should solve the problem.

Proper engine tune up may be needed i.e service the idle air control valve but strongly suggest you scan the car first. More clue here...

better leave the AC on, your vehicle is supposed to drive not fly
