There's nothing I'll not see where these boys are o hiaa, I don't even know what to say though it's very funny to me but maybe they need a female to be among them

Am not getting any female dog to avoid stories, I don't even have any plans to breed. I'm just a dog lover.

Lol, it's not really what it looks like though, they were playing then Gustaf just decided to climb Murphy something like that, but if you look closely you'll see that there's nothing happening there.

So why have you been silent all this while??

Is your gsd a working gsd or just a sable colour gsd? I don't mind if you upload a picture of your dog here for everyone to see

Thanks for the compliment

but Murphy is the boss here..

Yup for the mean time he's the boss

He is capable of chasing gustaf away in order to have a share of his food and he always succeed that's because Murphy is bigger than gustaf thereby he's the ALPHA MALE here

What always gives me joy is the love they share within themselves whether in cage, outside or during training sessions

I've never for once seen the boys fighting and that's sign of a good relationship between two male dogs.

**The relationship between my sisters and the boys**

My sisters often decide to do the feeding but i don't let them do that when ever am around because they may not know the right proportion of food to feed or something like that, they only do the feeding when I'm away

Came out of the house just to see my immediate kid sis showering Murphy already lol, maybe she shouldn't have bothered herself but since she wanted to do the batting then cool

Lol...yeah Simba had that issue...except we only had him so what he did was use his "stuffed dolls" or soft play toys to do his "business".
We never got him neutered....so the few times that he got out of the yard and down the street, we don't know where he was nor what he was doing We think he may have a "secret" family somewhere.

Simba would get in "heat" and I would say, "Simba!"...and he would stop. He would see us and stop.
But it got to the point when he was older...that he would see us watching, and hear us call his name...but keep on going....
We just left him alone....lol.

Gustaf exploring his territory, sometimes i don't just know the colour of this dog, some people say he's a black, grey or mixed colour... I personally know he's a sable colour gsd

The changing of coat is as a result of shedding and other health problems he has faced so far

Ok...yeah I see.
Hopefully, you can keep that coat shiny regardless of its color.

Simba must have been a very funny dog just like Murphy is but letting your dog wander out of it's territory unsupervised is a very dangerous thing to do

I never for once allowed my dogs out of the compound off leash as it is just as risky as allowing a kid attend the kindergarten without being escorted, there are local dogs around and they can easily attack your dog and cause her injuries

Getting your dogs to sit and eat on command is not just as easy as it seems, it takes some special effort and patience to archive what you want.

Contained in the ceramic plate are raw chicken legs, head, wings and some fresh liver.. Murphy sometimes teaches Gustaf how to be patient, calm and eat on command

He was an awesome, protective, funny, caring and very intelligent dog.
No...we didn't let Simba wander out...
See we would put him in our fenced backyard....and he had lots of room to run around so we'd leave him out there for about 20 minutes or so...so he could "be a dog"...run around and explore....but he didn't like that at all cause he wanted to forever be inside....
We found out that there was a small opening in the fence where he was able to squeeze through and wander off....(this happened about 4 times in all of his 15 years). We eventually closed up the small opening....
We wouldn't know that he had gotten out until we go back outside to bring him back inside the house...
Talk about scared and sad...each time he got out, we just felt that was it. That either he would be killed....stolen...or be forever lost.
The neighborhood was large so we weren't sure what direction he had gone into...and he could've easily gotten stolen.
We'd get into a car and go looking...sometimes we found him.
Other times, he would somehow find his way back to the house...
I tell you...that dog had an angel watching over him....I am convinced about that...

I truly agree with you, it's only God that protects our pets for us if not gustaf would've been a dead dog long ago due to different health challenges he has faced

I wish you've a picture of simba, do you have any??

Well training has never been easy at all but as a novice determined trainer and a dog lover I'm, I prefer to do the training on my own

I'm currently teaching and training gustaf on sitting, jumping of obstacles, stay and come and also how to shake

Gustaf is a fast learner just that all he needs is concentration and i really have to give him my attention so things won't get out of hands

As soon as he becomes perfect in this basic commands then we'd move to the next level asap

Lol, I had to clean it up before taking the pictures and i was fast so they won't throw another on the floor

Taking these cute pictures aren't easy at all, it's one of the most difficult things i do because one will have to position them in the right direction to get a good picture

You talk out of experience, do you own a pet??

So here are (3) pics of Simba...
The first one where he is sitting straight up (like a royal lion) was in Dec. 2012
The second one (where he's on the pink carpet) is when he was using his paws to ask me to rub his belly....(which he absolutely adored)..Dec. 2011
The third one is when he rolled on his back and "grabbed the air"...my personal favorite. I always said that he was playing with an angel...cause he would roll over and look into the air as if he actually was seeing something...Dec. 2011
We believe he's had either a stroke, or old age cause him to start holding his head to the side...if u can notice that.
He was age 14 and 15 years respectively in 2011 and 2012.
He passed in April 2013....
We had him from 7 weeks old...
Although he was only 10 lbs., he looked like a big fur ball...but that's all hair cause give him a bath and soak his hair down and he looked like a 5 lb. Chihuahua!
In his old age (which started around 11-12 years, he started developing his "white" hair around his mouth....(as humans develop grey hair)..
But he was so cute....
Now you get to see a glimpse of the "Triumphant Lion"!
Sorry if the pics are blurry...they're old.

What a great story you got to tell about simba and it's really an interesting one

I know you would've written him a diary if things like social media, smartphone... We're advanced during his time like our time. He looks like a miniature chow chow to me ( I call them puffy lion) lol

You really had a wonderful pet truly shocked

A boerboel and a German shepherd

Funny enough I own a boerboel and a German shepherd
But their girls...

Brandy the boerboel is the patient one.

While MJ the GSD is the not so patient one lol.
Training her has almost been impossible...

I thought GSDs were the smartest dogs lol

Here's a funny picture of them playing
They're both 2years old +
