That man is a thief, a job that has been done by the Swiss lawyer, I'm sure he planned on sharing the 6 billion naira between him n those two lawyers...n I'm sure he will get a bigger share of the money if it's approved .. Kudos to the finance minister

I have never seen a corrupt Attorney General in any sane democracy.
It is unheard of because it is a position of utmost importance.

More important than even the vice presidency, so utmost due diligence is made, before appointing one

Nigerians will never appreciate the importance of this.

Kemi Adeosun is the reason polytechnic graduates are discriminated against till this day in Nigeria.

How will a finance minister be that dull.
Does she know how that payment would have improved the nation's foreign reserve?

Mumu minister.

Malami and Abba Kyari are more corrupt than anyone in GEJ's government.

PMB couldn't get rid of them cos i suspect he's going senile.

The Cable Newspaper Journalism Foundation, CNJF, a partner organisation to TheCable, then sent a Freedom of Information, FOI, request to Malami for a copy of the agreements reached with Monfrini for the recovery. TheCable understands that the terms in the agreement were clearly spelt out, such that no other lawyer would be needed for the return of the money to Nigeria. Malami refused to accede to the FOI request, but the Cable Foundation is currently in court to seek an order of mandamus to compel the attorney-general to make the documents public.

And they will come here and say sai baba till forever, buhari is fighting corruption and corruption is fighting back. pdp is corrupt. release the list of looters. media trial is ok. I pity this country. who cursed nigeria now? This same minister for injustice was indicted in maina's case and ran to court to stop his being probed by the house . Yet buhari the anticorruption no nonesense mr integrity did not sack him. AND YET HE IS THE BEST WHO MUST RULE WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT. Obasanjo, Yaraddua and even GEJ never spared exposed thieves in thier cabinet when there was an out cry, buhari protected his theives despite public outcry. yet he is the most honest nigerian kai!;the person that cursed nigeria may have done it on the high sea and thrown the key into the ocean. hence our insanity is incurable.

Read in between the lines or go get sense. Can't you see that malami maliciously engaged them? 6b naira to a lawyer for doing nothing ? I have my PVC, no problem.

Those Lawyers might have signed an agreement with Previous Presidents to get a 5% cut on any recovered loot. If there is such an agreement i doubt if Buhari can stop this percentage cut

She try for this one. Next thing now cabal will pursue Bubu to UK to endorse and enforce her removal.

Thieves everywhere. In fact, Bubu has no right to touch any Abacha loot. Let the next government come and receive it since Abacha never stole a kobo.

Good job Adeosun. Not a world bank minister who says it is dangerous to fight corruption and looked the other way while the nation's treasury was being looted. Yet her fellow pigs say she is the best after sliced bread.

Yet that same World Bank minister as Coordinating Minister for Economy started the implementation of the IPPIS that has removed over 100,000 ghost workers and saved over N200 billion as at 2014. The same World Bank Minister who coordinated with the current AfDB President to stop the fertilizer scam.

Now you want to applaud a clerk with no pedigree for not approving a payment to just 2 corrupt lawyers. WTF is her job? Where was she when Malami was bringing in the lawyers? Where was she when the FG through the AG signed an agreement with the lawyers? Another mere commissioner that the cabal will arm twist effortlessly. Or you think we don't know this is her sending a message to the cabal trying to reinstate Gwarzo that she suspended.

Hear this and hear it well. No matter what Adeosun does and no matter how far she goes she wouldn't ever have the reach of Ezekwesili not to talk of Iweala. We are talking about birds, you want to bring a fly to the discussion.

An ordinary small girl Minister for Finance called Kemi Adeosun just blocked the stylish relooting of looted funds whereas a world bank trained international fraudster called Ngozi Okonjo-Iwealla supervised the looting and sharing of our resources, releasing billions of dollars for sharing and looting among Goatluck Jonascam and his gang of 40 thieves lead by Diezaini Alisson-Madueke. What a tale of two Minsters of Finance.

Economy is stable but your polytechnic clerk, mere commissioner, and ancient illiterate took it into the first recession in 30+ years. World Bank Minister maintained annual GDP growth it at 4+% in most of her years as Finance Minister.

And your polytechnic clerk is not even aware of the trillions of naira being siphoned by NNPC as per under-recovery or the billions being withdrawn from several funds by the cabal and cronies. Hopefully, by na next yr she go comot, we go c all the nonsense wen dey happen under her very nose.

recession was during buari government but indicators that caused it started during jonathan govt but most of the people just don't want to know the reason behind it. Inability of the govt to spend during the raining period on infra structural facilities is one of the factors. Investors decline in raising economy activities is also another factor.financial crisis is another major determinant because looting of public fund was rain of the day during okonjo era. Truth must be told, inability of buari govt to appoint minister on time also addedd to the problem but polytechnic graduate has done well by moving nigeria out of recession and the economy is growing. Foreign reserve is one of those indicators that shows that the economy moving upward. Investors were also gaining you van check this one from the bankers. Out tax system is encouraging which you can get the revenue remiting now and then when we relied too much on petroleum.
