Actually it doesn't make much sense judging the price of a product based on the price of the materials used. What about money spent in research, manufacturing, marketing, payment of staff etc. And rhey have to make profit. If all these things cannot be accounted for then the company will operate at a loss especially if they cannot meet a certain sales target. Ask Sony, HTC and LG, their flagship phones cost around $200-300 less than corresponding iPhones and they have been operating on a loss for a couple of years now.

I don't know much I think the what makes iphones special is because they are using different OS from other smart phones , windows phones are special too .even blackberry are special ,same with android .

But what makes them (iPhone) expensive is the brand name ..

I'm on a neutral ground here but looks like u been sleeping. iPhone 8, 8 plus and iPhone X support wireless charging. Previous iPhones couldn't support wireless charging because of the aluminium back... Phones with aluminium back cannot have wireless charging, reason while some HTC, LG v20 and many other flagship aluminum build Android phones don't have wireless charging.

As for fast charging, well shame on apple, it takes over 2hours to charge iPhone 8, 8 plus and iPhone x. But that doesn't mean it doesn't support fast charging, just that it's not included in the box. To grt fast charging on iPhone 8 to X, u need a USB c to lightning cable and Apple's 39 watt charger which costs $50 (apple are crooks for not including this in the box as standard)

Of course all those things are not needed, the system just works. I've been using both Android and iPhone for like 7 years now, the last time I even downladed titanium back up was like 4 -5 yrs ago. Android has become so good that I don't need any lucky patcher or titanium back up when I can easily restore my apps from the play store whenever I change phone, same thing with iPhones. Only a very minute number of phone users are power users.
