So I've been playing pes 2018 for Android since last night. A heavy game that plays with an Internet connection. Nearly 20 hours of screen-on time with just a brief charge from 5-35%.

Apart from the rom, is there any other difference between the official global version and the Chinese version (with global rom installed) for redmi 5 plus?

Edited: so I checked on gsmarena and the only difference I could spot was that the Chinese version supports more 4g bands than the global version. Any other info is welcome.

You just confirmed what I earlier said. Global version supports more LTE bands and not the reverse

My mistake. I mixed it up while typing. I have corrected it.
I mean redmi 5 plus for china supports more 4g lte bands according to gsmarena

Clear your WhatsApp cache. You may need to backup your chat history first.

Did you delete your contacts from the device b4 or what happened?
Anyways, here's one:
Contacts > Menu /Options> Import/Export > Import from storage > Google account.

If you don't know how to get to Menu/options, just follow this: Settings > System Apps > Contacts > Import/Export contact and follow the rest of the instructions

I think the mistake is from gsmarena, they are going with the India naming of the redmi 5 plus(Redmi note 5) hence why the bands stated there are just for Indians only.
