somehow:
It's an individual thing oga or Okpotu the only player that has gone to Europe from the league?

Don't you think its disrespectful to our Nigerian league players..a highest goal scorer being asked to do trial!! Which means they don't trust whatever he achieved in the Nigerian league..

Same thing with Stephen Odey, when he went on trial to a club in Denmark... Direct transfers are rare..

Yes its true, I just feel Europeans don't respect our league..

Off the top of my head.

1. Musa assist for Ideye against Mali in the 2013 nations cup

2. Musa cross for Nwofor in the Mandela cup.

3. Musa cross for Victor Moses against Algeria

4. Moses deep cross for Simon Moses against cameroon in a friendly game.

After 8years playing as 7 in Gwg,u can only remember 4crosses/assist,normally it ought to b much grin grin

Abeg MUSA no b am

I think -
for the first instance, it was Emenike that gave that cross to Ideye sir not Musa (Ideye scored in the first half while Musa came in the second)

for the Moses simon's goal against Cameroon that assist from Musa (off a swift counter) was more of through Ball to Simon

Another look at the highlights would help sir

Emenike is correct, that is an error.

A long cross from deep is still an assist from Musa..

One of the ills of Manu Garba. How so?
"there are somethings one know but shouldn't say". Then what then?

He sounds like someone disgruntled.. If he had something to say Simon, he should come out and expose it instead of making a fool of himself with riddle-like news.

As regards Rohr, we are waiting.

Forget that guy man. He goes on the rant about the history of coaches promising to invite players for the WC if they sign for them. Gave an example of Tijani and how he was locked in his house for 24 hours by his national team coach (Westerhof I suppose).

you mean you prefer musa as a CF?
you're funny...it seems you don't know how wasteful he is in front of goals...please go re-watch Nigeria vs south Africa match in uyo during keshi era...

musa is better as as sub....keshi used these rhythm to get the best from him during the afcon 2013....he can always come in to outrun the defenders.....during 30-10 minutes left to play...and he should be deployed to the wings.
I say so because of the runs he makes. He gets into better scoring positions than the forwards we have.
Unfortunately we're not blessed with a playmaker like Ozil, De Bruyne, Eriksen in our team.

Valid penalty... not sure about the red
even though I'm a madrid fan but the red totally broke my spirit.
if a referee awards a last minute penalty, he should know that there'll definitely be a strong protest. a yellow would have been fair. but the red was too harsh. i feel bad for buffon

After watching mandzukic’s performance, I’m starting to think that the Croatians will be an even bigger challenge than the Argentines.

Top league scorer in Nigeria going for trial in denmark...this reflects how European countries view our league... grin grin

Our league is more of English northern national league or German Regiollina to them.

In all truthfulness I don't blame them(oyibo people) because many of them(our so called stars) has flopped abroad. Like tbaba said, scoring goals in NPFL is nothing extraordinary.

Fun Fact:
At beginning of every season, a striker, skipper or penalty taker of all the 20 teams will be expecting at least 19 future clear goal scoring chances that will result from penalty of 19 home matches embarassed

We have mikel

The truth musa and many if not all our forwards don't know when to make such run. Our problem is consistency in poor decision making

I agree with you. This Barcelona is very much overrated. There's something about the team that doesn't fill you with confidence.
I am still perplexed how they have managed to stay unbeaten in the La liga all season.
This Champions League is Bayern's to loose, although I'm routing for Liverpool because of the Pharaoh.
I'm also for Liverpool. Scintillating, magical football. All hail Da Pharaoh

two fine assists from crosses and a pair of headers from Mario Mandzukic. Goals like this can make a difference, which is why we need players like Samuel Kalu, and a point man that can also finish with the head. We should always have this option our team.
We flat in the air. Not good at crosses and worse still we don't even cross. Throughout the two friendlies, not even a single cross,

Oh yeah, he did... But who was the last before him?

Somebody here is trying to make it look like Musa and the other wingers are the reason why we don't score many goals from crosses...

I believe Echiejile in the 2013 AFCON S/finals win against Mali was the last before him

1. Samuel Kalu's stats for this season.

2. Peter Olayinka's stats for this season.

Whose stats is better and who should be called based on their stats? grin

Some people don't have the interest of the national Football team.

Has he(Tomori) been performing or is it because of just one good game?

To bench who?

Ebuehi? Aina? or Shehu?

At 20 he has not played up to 25 league games and you are calling for his inclusion.

You see your life

You did not read the post before you jumped to the most negative emotive deduction.

Please find one reference point not two where I have called for the inclusion of Tomori. If you can not do the honourable thing and apologise for misrepresentation.

Samuel Kalu obviously.

He has performed in every Forward role. He can be deployed anywhere in front and will still get you a goal or an assist.

Hello friends
As we all know its never easy smashing the bookies really hard and forcing a dose of their own medicine down their throat.

Juventus did the job it for me last night (who cares if they crashed out!)
I made a reasonably huge sum of Nigerian currency.

Juventus to win either halves:
3.26 × 50,000
u know the rest

So who wants to help a brother out and let's have a cool deal. I need a clean and VERY skillful damsel ( or bitch, whatever) to show me what she's got tonight.
..My eyes are web dirty right now.

modern playmakers ain't static, you pass the ball and move and open up for an another pass

Sir, stats do not play football on the field. Who still recalls some years back, there was this national clamour for Peter Ijeh, he was banging goals for fun in Sweden. He was eventually invited, what was the outcome... A huge flop. That was the first and last time he donned the GWG. .....CYRIL DESSERS!!!!
