Bro. Start learning German from Nigeria ( youtube, edx, coursera etc are free plaforms) to improve your chance, not that you cant see jobs without knowing German but it limits d number of jobs you can get.

Arm yourself with marketable skills
Pray and hope for the best
I wish you well

1. Go to daad.de, filter according to course and search properly. You are better informed if you make the search yourself.

2. You can do IETLS or better still TOEFL that comes out in 2 weeks time max. Worthy of note to mention that some schools don't require any of those so far your degree was obtained in an English spreching country or taught exclusively with English as medium of instruction

Registration for TOEFL is currently 40k. Contact B.Y. Mafit Ltd in Ikeja. There are still spaces in May.

Yes, I would advise you take the course, but you've got to be hardworking, you have to learn German to get admitted/invite to write the exam, duration is two semesters and youd write entrance exam on German and mathematics or just German depending on the faculty you'd like to study later. Its called Studienkolleg you can find more information at Studienkollegs.de

oh they also said they will give me scholarship for my first year degree(this is next year)

TU Hamburg ia the only university I know that makes this mandatory for Nigerians.

You are almost a native speaker, so go to ur university and get an English language exemption letter from them

Most times, it's In a condition that you pass your Studentkolleg den admission Will be offered but I would advise you do a one yr program in Nigeria before leaving, even in open university, it's acceptable.

Yeah I understand what you mean, in some schools you're enrolled for up to four semesters so you can get your resident permit , in that time you've got time to learn the language and then continue with your studies , the con about this is that in order to get a job in your first year , you have to collect some sort of permission from the aliens office , because your only allowed to work in your lecture free time "holidays" . And then you have to pay for intensive courses at a German language school for atleast 20hours per week, and it's gonna be quiet stressful , this is my own understanding from my personal research , I don't know how possible it is to get a visa using that method, the gurus In the house can correct me if I'm wrong

Getting visa is easy if he has a conditional admission but, instead of spending such huge cash and time, make him do one yr university for Nija use transcript get bsc driect

Hello house, please is there any difference between IELTS test by IDP and the one registered through the British council website. It's really getting my confused because I'm seeing that of the IDP for the first time and they also have the date I wish to take the exam available. Is there also any price difference?

IDP Education has announced a partnership with MOD Education to deliver International English Language Testing System (IELTS) tests in Nigeria. The main examination venue in Lagos is conveniently located at G.R.A in Ogudu.

https://ielts.ng/idp-education-mod-education-open-new-ielts-test-centre-nigeria/

IDP is just an organization that wants to deliver IELTS tests in Nigeria at their own Venues.

Hi Justwise, mrbigman1, baminasri, heybaby12 & Everyone, I finished from a Private UK University where I got-in doing a Direct entry from NIIT years ago & finished with a 2.1 Upper class. I tried applying to 3 school in Germany this March for my Masters Program and I was Rejected by this 3 Universities because I did a direct entry & they say it affected my ECTS credits. I have 7.0 in my IELTS & currently going to a German weekend lesson in Lagos. My course languages are all in English. So I have the complete requirements.

Is there any other Free Tuition Universities that accept Nigerians without too much hassle? I am honestly tired of this Bullshit.

I have spent a lot including transferring my documents via DHL & paying for Uniassist Separately & other expenses etc and still got rejected. It happens that I have wasted all my efforts.

So sorry about the rejections. I wanna sincerely believe that there are a lot of schools that are gonna admit you easily, especially considering your high GP. Anyways get acquitted with daad.de. Filter properly and you gonna find many schools hopefully.

What was ur course in the UK and what course are u going to?

Are dey same? Do you have any work experience or internship or something?

What school rejected you?

Add your transcript from niit and write your motivation letter properly.

Yea, My course in UK for Bachelors Degree was "Information Technology & Business Information Systems" which is almost like Computer Science.

I applied for Master in Computer Science for Digital Media & Masters of Science in Informatics.

From University in Bauhaus-Weimar, Germany & Technical University of Munich.

Yes, my Motivation Letter was written properly. They actually gave me a Reason for Refusal which was my Transcript. That I did not meet the Academic Requirement. I assume they are talking about my ECTS credits.

I was 4 years working experience in I.T field/programming from since 2014 till date.
