Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by airsaylongcon: 3:37pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
obonujoker: Disable windows update. Also you want to check if your antivirus is automatically updating. You can disable automatic update and download manual updates every week |

airsaylongcon: That's a great way of reducing data consumption hugely. @obonujoker, remember that data consumption on PC is relatively large compared to a mobile device. However it's consumed more with windows 10. So, let's know if the above suggestion worked for you *cheers * |

Brownhypo: take it to a technician to check if the USB ports are drived with a driver. if it doesn't work then you have to format the system with a new window |

Toecynne: the hard disk might have shifted from it's position because of some force or pressure. loosen the hard disk enclosure and make sure it is fitted well. you can use a piece of folded paper to support it so that it won't shift again from it's position |

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by ePrive(m): 3:09pm On Apr 14, 2018 |
obonujoker: A solid fix is; Use any phone as your hotspot..... and when connected with it.....go to your PC WI-FI settings, and set your phone connection as a metered connection......that's the key. Your system will always recognize that connection as having limited data. So anytime you connect from that phone..... only your current task would be allowed to connect to the internet. So nothing like background synchronization of other apps or Windows update zapping loads of data. I always tell my clients in Nigeria that; instead of buying a modem, they should buy a small android phone, to act as hotspot. They're the same in price and better, because; -their battery last better -you can control/see your data statistics in more details. -portability -capable of emergency secondary functions. -more reliable -not dependent on one mobile carrier. -less hassle ...and host of other benefits. My system doesn't come up sometimes when I put it on, the power light will be on but the screen won't display (not a screen problem) Sometimes I'll have to manually put it off, then try putting it on again before it'll finally come up (sometimes I try this 5/6times before it comes up) What could be the problem? Hard disk?? Processor?? |

Re: Post Your Computer (PC) Troubles Here. by Razak5(m): 5:22pm On Apr 16, 2018 |
Franky826: Hello. Luckily for you, you do not need any extraordinary tools to do your DIY troubleshoot. You can check by trying another battery on your system to be sure it's not the battery. If after trying another battery, you still experience the same issue, then try another charger. ... It's a simple logic game, just to rule out the bad guy (battery or charger) and change it. Ofcourse, after trying the above with no success, it's time to get into the system... That's so not DIY. Let's hear from you... *cheers * |
