Good day Oga gazzuz, Pls kindly advise,I want to get a car and I like roomy cars.My budget can get me either a TOKUNBO 2003 CAMRY (big daddy) or a REGISTERED 2007/2008 CAMRY (MUZZLE). Although one would normally suggest that a TOKUNBO car would be better than a registered car but having gone through Nairaland,I discovered that most of our so called tokunbo cars are actually accidented while some registered cars are well maintained and are in better conditions compared to some toks cars. Kindly give ur candid opinion on this sir! |

GAZZUZZ:i have changed the four coil in this car and the temperatures of the car is normal now even with ac on and drives well buh the moment I want to accelerate rapidly and the rev is climbing up to 3, it jus start decelerating like the gear fail to change and it decelerate back to zero and motor goes offf I I don’t quickly remove my leg from the accelerator.please what could be wrong? |

Good morning sir. I noticed that my Toyota corolla engine makes a funny sound when I start it in the morning or whenever it has been parked for long hours. The sound comes at start up and stops after few seconds. The oil is not overdue cos I change it often and its not short either. It's been like that for over a month now. I don't know if i should be bothered about it. And I don't know why it is common to Toyota as my neighbour's own also sounds like that. The corolla I got from a partner sometime ago was also sounding like that before we ended our partnership. Thanks |

Hello Gazzuzz,I just got a Camry 2007 model yday.I noticed that when I start the engine it makes this "voooooooom" sound then stops after a few seconds.it also jerks when the sound has reduced. I doubt if it's normal but my mechanic is saying once I service the car the noise will stop.Pls I need your advice.Thank you |

Good morning oga Gazzuz. Got a used Honda Accord 2005 Euro spec. The remote .key didn't come with it (last owner said it got damaged). Went to get a new remote key. Engine starts but the door locks doesn't work. The guy said the remote sensor on the ignition is missen and the ignition has to be replaced for it to work. Could this be true? Kindly advise. GAZZUZZ: Have been preaching synethic oil as if am the spokes person for engine oil world wide.. From experince people just use any oil and neglect to follow the manufacture advice.. Even the mineral oil people use self is any oil .. The just tell you use total oil ..totoal oil is good.. And in the long run the car suffers, a situation of laugh now cry later... one guy on my whatapps group said that Nigeria economic situation does not allow correct oil.. Mjneral oil is fine we go manage am like dat... On another note Gazzuz what is your take on elantra now since you have them in your fleet.. Are they durable ? Or they give issues ? And why the sudden change of heart towards elantra 1 Like |

Olapumpin: The Nigeria used car probably came in accidented. Full disclosure, due diligence, repair history and professional pre-purchase inspection will help alot to decide on whatever vehicle you are buying. |

GAZZUZZ: For now free from vandalism..... Elantras are now becoming very common as per its an alternative to a corolla. We are aware the law of nature in the crime world.. People will start stealing their parts if that is not already been done.. My back lights were almost stolen at the port. And my observation while in Lagos was , for every four corolla on the road , there were two elantras on the road... the only previous issues I had with the car was finding correct parts like linkages and the shocks that was sold in the market was very bad .it didn't last long at all , it cost 35k for four shocks and the bushing for the car was hard to find the good ones.. I have one on ground that needs a bit of attention.. And I will let you know when am ready to bring it to your shop.. |

GAZZUZZ:hello nairalanders. Please I start my car this morning to go to church and it refused to ignite instead making k kkkkkkkkkkkk sound . Could it be my battery ? ( I checked the battery led and it's pure green) plus the stereos and dashboard signs come up and engine AC fan I guess, rotates. What could be wrong? Is it the battery head or something else |

GAZZUZZ:thanks sire but I think it's the battery . Now all the dashboard lights are Missen or dulled. The central lock remote no longer locks and unlock the car. I know I repeatedly used the car radio and AC fan without igniting the engine, this must have worn out the battery  what are the solutions?, how much is a new quality battery go for in the market ? |

Boss Gazzuz,. Plz I need ur help, I am planning on getting a Honda EOD,. Preferably a 2005,.but the whole world seems to be against it and waiting for me to get it and have issues,. I have always liked the car,. Used a Camry 01 before I sold it,. Wanted to know if it has special maintenance tips,. Or if it's actually a suicide mission,. Oga Gazzuzz, i need your professional opinion of some issues concerning my 2007 Honda Accord 1. The rear wheel is slightly bent inwards (More visible on the passenger rear)from the top. It's more obvious when parked on a flat surface. I have had like 2 mechanics check and they seem to see it differently. This has started to wear my rear tyres towards the inside (more noticeable on the rear right) Another mechanic suggested the Rear Upper Control Arm (mine is non-adjustable) needed to cut and additional iron joined to it to resolve the slanted rear wheel Is the Rear Upper Control Arm and ball joint assembly available in Lagos? 2. Since i acquired the car, i've had issues scanning the car. Only one scanner (Launch) has been able to scan the car while all others simply do not connect. Please advise |
