. I still remember when some friends said Hazard was better than Neymar(when we usually talked about who would get the Balon D'or after the Messi-Ronaldo era ends). I really really like Hazard but sincerely speaking,Neymar is a better player.

You dey mind them? Hazard is not even up to griezmann standard let alone Neymar

Arsenal fans are harsh on players that isn't Jack Wilshere. Ozil only started getting a pass as Alexis Sanchez left.
Hector Bellerin and Xhaka have had it worse than Iwobi imo. Xhaka has also shut his comment section off a couple of times.
They dont even want Jack Wilshere at the club. They are saying Arsenal play better without him like in the CSKA game where Arsenal started scoring immediately he left the pitch.
I laugh when people say Iwobi is being singled out, obviously they lack information. The Nigerian's case is just that he have have refused to improve. A paltry 2 goals in 33 games for an attacking player says it all.

All the years of frustration is taken out on players...It is no wonder why players want to leave. Even after Iwobi's brilliant display against Southampton, i still saw plenty of abuse. The environment is toxic at the club.
You're complaining about Iwobi after the Southampton game which he just assisted one goal. I can show you unsavory comments made towards Ramsey after he scored a brace against CSKA. There is a serious hate campaign against Ramsey because of his over ambitious style of play. A sect in their fan base want him out of the club, they believe the likes of Ramsey and and Wilshere have held back the club since their emergence.
I don't care about these players, I only care about Iwobi and we must be honest enough to say it as it is. Alex Iwobi haven't improved. If I'm to rate his season, I wouldn't give him more than 4/10.

Payet has always been known to be talented, the problem is he's been inconsistent. Only started showing a bit of consistency in his last season at Marseille and West Ham. That's why Arsenal didn't sign him. They scouted him much much earlier.

Arsenal scouted every good player

Gent Samuel Kalu Shuns French Ligue 1 Club For Bundesliga Outfit

nigeriasoccernet.com Apr 13, 2018 1:00 PM

Samuel Kalu of Belgium side Gent who as reported by Owngoalnigeria.com is close to reaching an agreement to join a club in the French Ligue 1 has had a change of mind regarding his move to the French side.

Kalu has caught the eyes of several clubs in Europe including teams in England, but a move to the Premier League looked unrealistic for now which cleared the way for him to make the switch to the French Ligue 1.

Gent are already prepared to let go off the 20 year old wing forward for a fee in excess of €15m but it appears he is set to move to a club in the German Bundesliga and not to a French Ligue 1 club, Owngoalnigeria.com gathered.

The highly rated forward who was plucked from the famous GBS Academy in Jos has held productive talks with a German Bundesliga club and prefers a switch to Germany ahead of France.

Already Gent have commenced the search for his replacement and report has it that As Trencin Hillary Gong is among the players they are eyeing as a replacement for the departing Kalu

This is Lookman's stats over two seasons in League One and EPL in 16/17, then EPL and Bundesliga in 17/18 so far.

His performance has neither improved nor dipped. The question remains why is he not performing way better in a league that just has Bayern Munich winning everything? There has been excuses given already. Call his performance whatever you want but I don't see any marked difference from England to Germany.

The much celebrated Ighalo did far better in the Championship than what he did in La Liga, and he continued where he stopped when he moved to the EPL until he started experiencing a goals drought later on.

My point is you can find as much examples to buttress your case just as you can find other examples to dismiss it.. so what we have is we find people believing what they want.. don't apply double standards when moving from one Nigerian player to another.

Your proposition assumption from which your indictment question emanates from. Simply makes no sense it's nonsensical. We are talking in general not in exception.

What's the unit of measurement that you create if you can call it measurement. Bayern Munich win everything in the Bundesliga so therefore Ademola Lookman a winger from Everton should be ripping the league apart.

You have singled out Ademola Lookman, why What's the point.

When looking at European league performance it's not anchored on individual players but clubs and thier leagues. So what exactly is your point.

You can not assess the European league and club ratings and performance on players alone and certainly not on the basis of Nigerian origin players alone . That is simply absurd.

There are general deductions that are largely proven, the EPL is regarded by many authoritative bodies as the best in the world. In my opinion the most competitive, the fastest and physically taxing. However, it is not the best technically speaking.

It's a one team league that is irrefutable and proven. the possibility that Bayern could win the league with 30 point lead still exists. That will not happen in any top 5 league in Europe. Add to that winning the league back to back 6 years running and nearly all the time over two decades.

Over the years far more players have left the English league and been outstanding in the Bundesliga than vice versa.

Ademola may not have set the league on fire but he is certainly not a flop.

Iwobi made 2 assists and a key pass. That should qualify for a day off from criticism.

You can give worse scores to several Arsenal players this season. It has been particularly poor.

When dem call you hater now you go complain. How could you be so blind to say the bolded? how could turn your head the other way to his all-round impact in that Southampton game? It wasn't just one assist. TWO assists, and he played a big part in the first goal as well. immportant contributions and a brilliant effort which was unfortunately saved -- it was far from a miss against Southampton. At least say it as it is.. Iwobi has had bad games, but give him credit when he performs.

Firstly, I never called him a flop.

But by your standards he should be lighting up the Bundesliga. Only you conceded earlier that you expected he would get more game time in the Bundesliga but he is behind some young Africans in the pecking order in Liepzig. So what are you still yapping?.. As usual, when you don't have anything to say, you just repeat yourselves.. this is probably the 1001st time you are saying the same things.
Yes we are talking Nigerian players, because the context has always been who to invite or who not to invite in the SE. Would you consider Umar not good enough for SE, and then turn around to say Lookman is good enough, just on the ground that he is an Everton player? Please say something new.

modified
why are you guys so similar?. try to convince me again you are not the same.

on your claim that far more players have been more impressive after moving to the Bundesliga than the reverse. I can do my research on that. we will have to look at the influx both ways and their actual performances before drawing conclusions.

It will shock you to know that I didn't watch Arsenal play against Southampton. Saying I'm indifferent about his performance in the game I didn't watch is absolute nonsense. If I had as much as seen the highlights, I could have figured out that he was involved in 2 goals.

People of God, let us join Arsenal fans to throw Iwobi under the bus because he is having an off season undecided

I think I have thrown that boy under the bus too many times over the years, at a point, I even dragged his minders......

E dey tire pesin, there is the level of hate someone will get that only an evil person will say, "He had it coming".... Whether they have been doinbit to Xhaka and Ramsey, neither of them is our business. Our business is Iwobi and we need him to be in top form, both physically and mentally in the run up to Russia.

We cannot sit by and allow those frustrated Arsenal fans rid him of his confidence, and we certainly cannot be clapping for them while they do it

A happy Iwobi means, an effective Iwobi, a sad Iwobi, is a useless Iwobi. Our priority should be making him happy. We can critique parts of his game, but do it with love, not with the " he should man up " tactic.

If he likes he can hit bar for Arsenal and send the ball to Nigeria, as long as he is sending key goals into the net for us, I will only have good words for him

your words speaks for you. you said "just one assist". How could you even comment on something you did not watch? And you didn't have to watch the game to know he made much impact in it. At least we have google.. There are still ratings on Iwobi's Southampton performance online as well. So where did you get that information that it was just one assist? What would I gain for throwing you under the bus? I clearly highlighted were you erred. So accept it, or just forget it.

Both feet of his take shots accurately!! That was an Arjen Robben type of goal cheesy. No wonder West ham refused to let him go. Funny enough I still think he's still underrated. What a talent!! In fact the whole Marseille team was ready to DIE on that pitch. That's the kind of determination that makes you just love the game of football. Amazing!!
