Good morning Nairalanders. My interview is for 2moro, I hope to come back with testimony... please am going for the interview with my little boy. My question is do I have to include a Nanny service in my budget sheet?? Considering the fact that I will be travelling with my little boy and it's my first time in the USA with no relative. Will the consular ask me questions like how I intend to cope without a help |

swanky6968: They may. If they do, show that you have the resources to get a nanny, show that you know how much it costs in the area you're going to. Infact add it to your budget plan. As an aside, I hope you have made arrangements for his care when you will be in the hospital 2 Likes |

Spatz81: No, it won't matter. You only need the US passport to request for VOA |

House please I need some advice: Is it advisable to modify my budget sheet, now that Oakbend prices have changed to reflect the new prices, as I still have the price list sent by the doctor a month ago showing the previous prices? |

Abiodunnn: Have you tried airbnb? Accommodation around FM1960 is usually less expensive. Also There is an African store around that area (Ive forgotten the name). They usually post Ads about accommodation and the likes on the door of the shop. Hope this helps |

Good afternoon everybody. It has been an eventful absence, but... Im back (Hopefully). No Im not knocked up (yet), Im here for research purposes. My topic is: What are the advantages and disadvantages of waiting another year to start this missionary journey (considering that unku T is at the helm of affairs and is allegedly seriously hating on African made Melanin with emphasis on the Naija brand)? I am seeing plenty refusals and it's not helping matters. Afraid is catching me seriously. God help us. Meanwhile, any oldies still in the house? Lady G, Queen Nef, Tripple? Uncle Justwise? (is he married now?) I de hail o. |

Lajoie33: Hian This one that you are back... Wehcome ma! To your question... My sister! This is a capital intensive waka so apart from unku T and all, one does need time to plan the journey in its totality. Just to add my opinion here...I don't think unku T is selective in his hating... he probably doesn't even have Nigeria in his mind sef. His narrative (Which made him attractive to the crowd that love him) is "America First" which means all others do not matter and should "stay in their lanes" Having said that, people are still getting visas for childbirth... I won't put pressure on myself by having another baby when I am not ready just because I want to have an Americana 6 Likes |

I applied for a us visa (b1/b2) alongside my family in 2016 and got the visa. At the visa interview i, i was honest about the purpose of my visit being vacation and childbirth. After bring cross examined by the vo, i was issued the visa with my wife and two year old daughter. In 2017, i visited the US and stayed for two weeks as i had to return back to Nigeria while my wife & daughter stayed back for 11weeks to birth our 2nd child. We had indicated during the visa interview that i will be staying for two weeks while my wife and daughter would stay for 11weeks. We had our child in US and paid our medical bills fully and obtained receipts for them. I recently applied for drop box to renew our visas which expired recently. I got a 221g visa follow up appointment (yellow form) requesting we reappear for an interview with a visa interview with a vo. Please what could be the reason for the interview and do i need do at the interview? Anticipating your kind response Fred |

Yels:Go with all your birth receipt and zero balance letter. It should be in the record that your wife gave birth. They may want to confirm if she paid her bills. Fear not. Keep us posted 1 Like |

So I was denied today after all my rehearsal and preparations. I applied with my son of 2yrs. Vo: why are you going to Houston Me: to have my baby Vo: what do you do for a living Me: I own a fashion business. Vo: are you married Me: yes Vo: what does your husband do Me: he owns his company, (explains in details what his company does) Vo: green paper. You are not eligible Within 1mins he already knows am not eligible. Was as if he knew he wasn't giving me even before he met me. What could have gone wrong. Gurus please advice, I intend to reapply 1 Like |

Good morning all, pls i posted here last month that i went for drop box and was given 221g form and i appeared for interview and was denied cos i had my 2nd baby in US 2016 May and paid all my bills, have my zero balance and statement of account. NOW i just realised this week that am pregnant for our 3rd baby, pls should i reapply and try lagos as i was denied at Abuja and do B2 alone or i should apply with both hubby and my first son as we always apply together and we all was denied last month. Will it seem desperate as we were just denied last month but by then, i wasn't pregnant. |
