For where?

For how many games? Most of his goals came from the wings.

Olayinka's stats was better than Onyekuru before he was injured because he contributed to more than 9 goals.

The same Olayinka was injured for almost 2-3 months.

Better than him how ? So because goal come from the wings it will not be counted ?a winger scoring than a striker

Okay but you can see yobo joined Everton 2002 ?

So because Nantes lost some games it's because of awaziem? Maybe he is the only player in their team,he is not even their most important player, they even lost games with him before the injury, why don't you blame him for the games they lost with him before his injury

Awaziem is good and improving everyday but at this age I am not sure if he will even start at west brom

At this juncture bro, I say believe what u will. I'm done with the argument

He will not start, hamed hegazi and Craig Dawson are better than him, hamed hegazi and Dawson will not go down with relegation westbrom, watch average club quee up to sign them, hegazi was bought directly from al ahly of Egypt that says a lot

Dawson has never been that good.. Let us not forget that Awaziem has been a starter at Porto.

Awaziem stand-out performance was against Florian Thauvin who has been outstanding this season (20 goals). Awaziem kept him quiet with a man of the match performance playing in an unfamiliar left back position. He also did very well against Neymar.

These are quality players that can match some of the best premier league players.

He can definitely play for some of the premier league teams.

Let us not forget, He is already been targeted by a premier league side for next season (Wolves)..

Let him sign for wolves first ,as much as I don't like British players and the Epl I will say the truth.

Na today dem dey mark Neymar ? Not all the French league team Neymar can score against ,even some laliga defenders wey awaziem better pass dey frustrate Neymar when he was at Barca

Regular at Porto ? Regular at Porto B and not Porto ,he played 10 portugese league games in 2 years for Porto first team and played 59 games at the b team so you can see where the regular is comming from ,I don't know if that is regular

Joel was brave in the friendlies, everyone was insulting his performance because he did not play like the am they were expecting, I sorry for una the guy nah box to box midfielder, if your waiting for fabregas think again. His positioning, interception, tackling and passing was decent in the friendlies he played to his strength! Which makes me happy because finally we have a fast box midfielder who can intercept a ball and control a ball properly without losing it in duels. I already have a destroyer in Ndidi I need a midfield pivot who can pass, hold, dictate play from deep and also contribute to attacking play with fast dashing runs forward obi Joel ticks the box perfectly. Ndidi Joel mikel my world cup 3man midfield
Naso e dey sweet for mouth like say den better pass the way dem play for the friendlies. Please play safe on your high hopes

He was fairly regular for Porto from Feb- May 2016 after impressive performances in team B. I remember he was outstanding against Benfica that season.

A change of managers moved him back to team B.

You can't just say, he won't play in the premier league. I do not see why not.. There are several calamity defenders in the EPL that Awaziem can replace.

Yobo was an attacker in a club in Portharcourt,Nigeria. It was Amodu that converted him to a right fullback,,,then he left Nigeria.....you know the rest

Samuel Kalu is good,if he were a Brazilian,he would cost not less than 30million euros...or an English player....phew...40million up....savvy?

Gong is growing.. Trencin brings out our best than that Midjyland team....checkout the players that have gone through their school.. Simon Moses, Rabiu[flop at SE],Samuel Kalu,Kingsley Madu,Ude and Aliko are first teamers, and now Gong going berserk....they have really made some money too

Yes sha that's true there are several calamity defenders there, that league is just overrated ,am just speaking from my own point of view, awaziem is improving everyday by day,I don't know if he is better than omeruo but I prefer him to omeruo

Kingsley Madu and aliko bala are surplus to requirement at their club, they don't even make the bench anymore the coach has asked them to look for a new club.

Yes if Samuel kalu is Brazil he will cost that amount ,he is just similar to richarlison of watford according to me

I think we under rate Awaziem in this part of the world, perhaps because of one or two matches...the guy is damn good, versatile and times his tackles. He is even good with his head. He joins the attack when a corner happens.I would like him to continue for one season under Ranieri and learn more before proceeding to a bigger league

I think FIFA have changed the rule.
..teams can now have 35 players in their preliminary squad.. not sure if its compulsory though

I noticed something on this thread and I am still learning.

If you argue with some people and you give them valuable proof that what they are saying is not intact will become angry and stop the argument but I think I will prefer that to someone who will insult.

At least if you are angry someone is giving you valuable point just ignore than to rant, still observing, what a wonderful thread I wish I can stop commenting for now,but make I no see wetin I no no ooo,Wikipedia and google is there for us all.

I have been tracking Ehizibue's development. IMHO, Rohr should cap him post Russia to increase our pool. He is one of the best right full backs in the Eredivisie.

Yobo started out as a DM and as a right back before becoming a CB . He was no defense general at Awaziem's age. Omeruo thrived well at a young age.

Awaziem has shown how good he is, in several league games this year.

Only 3 caps. One bad, one average, one good. I suspect he might thrive better if made to play RB or LB before taking up the CB role permanently.

I am not relying on wiki.

Yobo started as a midfielder at standard Liege, then had a torrid time at Tenerife, then back to Standard Liege as a midfielder ( versatile) but certainly not exclusively as a DM. Things changed he went to Marseille were he played as RW.

Gets into the SE and claims the RB slot, goes to the World cup and he was one of the few highlights of our entire tournament.

Everton came in for him a played a handful of games as RB and Moyes moved him straight into CB, at this stage he was winning MOTM awards. And the rest as they say is History after chopping low tax money in Fenerbache.

Not a striker but he scored more than a striker?

C Ronaldo not a striker but he has scored more than all the striker even zidane is playing him as a striker in a 442 formation

Is Messi a striker? But he as been playing as a striker this season with Suarez in a 442 formation

A team doesn't need a striker to get the goals okay

At Liverpool firminho is the top 9 and salah is getting the most goals

No b you dem dey call southgate abi Na komekn?

Anyway if one of you is southgate then the other one is Roy Hodgson, you guys are similar,I have been reading your comments you are only concerned about Yoruba players,if onyekuru is Yoruba you will not say this, striker or winger the guy is getting goals take it or leave it,even our Nigerian strikers in Belgium league can't even outscore him someone who has been out for some time.

I repeat Onyekuru is not a striker. Chikena. EOD

If you people are clamoring for him to come play for us as a winger, I don't have any problem with that but as a striker in our formation, it's a no no no. Don't allow sentiment to darken your mind.

Today, Olayinka got another assists. This makes it 14 assists with 8 goals but some people here are busy calling Samuel Kalu and Onyekuru. Are those concerned about these players doing so because they are Igbos?
