buddiemm: If that is the case then she doesn’t need to submit any document from UKNARIC. Her main task now is to address the reason why her previous permit was cancelled |

justwise:Thank you Justwise. Her previous employer's license was revoked close to the time she supposed to extend her visa. She couldn't get another sponsor to extend her stay so she left the UK before her visa expired. She just got another job now as a pastor and want to apply for entry clearance. |

Please what's the difference between TLS ikeja and Vi in terms of cost, processing time, etc. I'm currently processing my Tier 2 application and I intend using priority. A friend advised me to use VI although Ikeja is closer to me, his reasons were issues of touts at ikeja but i think i've come across some comments about extra costs at VI either in this thread or related threads. So I'd like to know the cost of biometrics at VI and Ikeja and anything else I need to know about both centres. Thanks. |

@justwise, please assist with this I was informed that a person must've worked at least a year in a company before applying for UK visa?? I've been in my previous company 5years plus with crappy pay, got lucky and got a new job through leg of course. I left my old job February 1st week, started my new job second week of February and was given 3months probation which will be completed first week in May, send my application end of May and I'd apply for leave July and travel if all goes well. So this means automatic rejection?? And also, when printing out my bank statement, must I want for the month end before printing it out?/or I can print it out second week of the month or its advisable I wait till month end?? |

OmoBendel24: Omobendel, we are all here to learn and understand. I've never traveled before so I'm just gathering more information concerning this, nothing is certain. I just saying that, I was in my former job for over 5years, got a better one February based on my experience I was given 3months probation instead of 6months, I will complete that 7th of May. I want to schedule my leave 2nd week of July because I want to apply for UK 6months visa 2nd week of may and schedule my appointment end of may after I've been paid for that month, give the embassy one month grace and if all goes well, I can leave July. If you want to advice me, then advice me.. We r all here to learn, and it seems no one wants to answer my question. Anyway thanks |

Try and wait 6 months in your new job so that you can get 6 month bank statement print out;this must correspond with your payslip monthly payment sent/send to your salary account..this is very important, even if you will support with personal account. Aquaman84: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 9:20pm On Apr 17, 2018 |
Kaleydd2000: Yes you can explain that in the form. Whether 2M will be enough will depend on your budget for the trip. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Aquaman84: 10:02pm On Apr 17, 2018 |
Yommieyomi: I understand you and bless you for not ignoring my question, but I'm on a deadline and if I don't travel the time I set, I might as well forget the trip entirely. So I humbly ask you, is it possible I include my previous company bank statement, like the first 2months from my old company. Then the other 4months, from my current company? I plan to travel July if God is on my side, once again thank you.... I have all necessary documents, my girlfriend is inviting me and she's really impatient, I've tried explaining but its a dead end. So what the outcome is, I guess she just wants to see that I tried than assuming I won't get it. This is my last post concerning this, I'll let you know the outcome though. Fingers crossed |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 5:44am On Apr 18, 2018 |
Aquaman84: Do you think any company will give you leave letter even before you work for 6months with them? Your current work status is what matters in terms of tie to Nigeria and not your previous employment. Applying for a visa even before you work for 6 months with leave letter is very questionable. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 5:49am On Apr 18, 2018 |
Aquaman84: Hi you are free to throw every document you have into the application. Only the ECO can decide if to issue the visa or not. We’re only here to provide advise and suggestion, which the applicant may or may not take. The ECO will be curious that a serious company can grant you leave within 6 months of employment to travel out of the country, when you are not the owner nor involving an emergency. Your girlfriend does not understand the mentality of ECOs and should not push you into a potential refusal. Good luck. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by ekpotek: 5:55am On Apr 18, 2018 |
sutelk: Ikeja centre: Is free to submit. VI centre: You pay to submit. Every other issues of processing, visa approval, etc are mere speculations. |

justwise: Thank you sir. Please I intend transferring money from my savings account to my salary account which is a current account. How long do you think is ideal to have the money stay in the account before I print out my statement of account and after application submission can transfer the money back to my savings account considering the COT charges. Thank you. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 6:39am On Apr 18, 2018 |
obaxlove: Leave your money as its and submit both accounts, moving money around close to visa application is a bad idea. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by galazito: 7:31am On Apr 18, 2018 |
Aquaman84: What I will tell you is that the ECO is an employee so telling him you are going for leave when you are still on probation is very very questionable because he knows what is obtainable and the issue of account @yommieyomi have given you the best advice...this one you are saying your girlfriend is inviting you with force (what the rush)? Don't cause too many suspicions on your application because you may shoot yourself on the foot and collect free 10yrs visa Which company will grant you leave under six months of employing you and what is your appointment letter, leave or introduction letter look like? |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Aquaman84: 8:22am On Apr 18, 2018 |
galazito: @justwise @ekpotek @galazito (cool name) and others Thank you for the responses, let me answer your questions now OK. I was in my previous company for over 5years as an analyst, when I was being employed in my new company which isn't as big as the old one agreed to give me a 3 month probation because of my experience and gave me a specialist position. I started February, I will complete 3months in first week of May and intend to send my application end of May. I plan to give the eco/ the month of June to decide on my visas. I do not plan to travel until July, I've not gotten these documents yet from my office, I'm just doing the calculation. But by the time I plan to travel I would've been with my company for 5momths. Concerning the payslips/bank statements, I want to include December and January at my old employment and February to may, in my new employment. But I will try and come up with a way to stall my girlfriend but if I'm not able too, I'll just apply. Maybe when she sees rejected on my passport, she will calm down |
