The clamour for onyekuru was not because of this season alone, he scored 24goals last season with almost 8assist and he was replicating the same feat this season if not injury. Peter Olayinka is a very good play and an utility forward, this season is his breakthrough season, i want to see him do better or move to a better club same with samuel kalu. But I wonder why we are not talking about awoniyi cos we obviously lack a striker, it is so unfortunate he just picked up an injury resently. musa needs to be replaced in the SE and mosses simon need to watch his back cos there is too much competition now in that position. BTW if u say u are followers of SE , CSKA n amker are playing abt now, all SE players r on parade go and watch it. |

somehow:Which kind physical fight is for the weak? Then intellectual fight is for the strong? Fight na fight and ain't no sign of weakness per se. It depends on the context. When I give birth to a son, I'd never tell not to fight physically. I'd tell him fight! Where the situation demands for it. So when he's hit he should just be forming cool. Naaa. That's weakness and cowardice pretending and seeking to pass off as refinement and gentkemanliness. Read the lyrics of Kenny Rogers 'COWARD OF THE COUNTY ' Ev'ryone considered him the coward of the county. He'd never stood one single time to prove the county wrong. His mama named him Tommy, the folks just called him yellow, But something always told me they were reading Tommy wrong. He was only ten years old when his daddy died in prison. I looked after Tommy 'cause he was my brother's son. I still recall the final words my brother said to Tommy: "Son, my life is over, but yours is just begun. Promise me, son, not to do the things I've done. Walk away from trouble if you can. Now it won't mean you're weak if you turn the other cheek. I hope you're old enough to understand: Son, you don't have to fight to be a man. " There's someone for ev'ryone and Tommy's love was Becky. In her arms he didn't have to prove he was a man. One day while he was workin' the Gatlin boys came callin'. They took turns at Becky.... N' there was three of them! Tommy opened up the door and saw his Becky cryin'. The torn dress, the shattered look was more than he could stand. He reached above the fireplace and took down his daddy's picture. As his tears fell on his daddy's face, He heard these words again: "Promise me, son, not to do the things I've done. Walk away from trouble if you can. Now it won't mean you're weak if you turn the other cheek. I hope you're old enough to understand: Son, you don't have to fight to be a man. " The Gatlin boys just laughed at him when he walked into the barroom. One of them got up and met him halfway 'cross the floor. When Tommy turned around they said, "Hey look! ol' yellow's leavin'." But you coulda heard a pin drop when Tommy stopped and locked The door. Twenty years of crawlin' was bottled up inside him. He wasn't holdin' nothin' back; he let 'em have it all. When Tommy left the barroom not a Gatlin boy was standin'. He said, "This one's for Becky," as he watched the last one fall. And I heard him say, "I promised you, Dad, not to do the things you done. I've walked away from trouble when I can. Now please don't think I'm weak, I didn't turn the other cheek, And Papa, I sure hope you understand: Sometimes you gotta fight when you're a man. " Ev'ryone considered him the coward of the county. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEJniCCuqR4 2 Likes |

somehow: Unfortunately, not all of them will b called up... I have this bad feeling that even Onyekuru may be left out of the 23 man list and Joel Obi might be the reason for that.... Why I say so is because Rohr already knows 90% of the players he will b taking to Russia.. I don't think there is enough time left to experiment for new players... Its quite certain that we will b taking 8 defenders to Russia.. that will leave 12 spots for the midfield and attack.. in midfield the following players are very much assured of a place on the plane: Mikel,Ndidi,Onazi,Etebo,Ogu... If Rohr decides to add Joel that will make it 6 MF and 6 attackers... the 6 attackers are likely to be Moses, Iwobi, Simeon, Musa,Nacho and Ighalo... No space for Henry... If Henry or any other attacker will b added to the list, then one of Etebo,Ogu and Joel will b dropped.... Just my thoughts.... 1 Like |

somehow: Firstly, the best place a player can show what he can do is on match day and not training ground. That is when they get to deal with the real situation Secondly Rohr cannot invite every player. |
