Yenagoa FMC Doctor Killed Our Baby – Parents by Mcoutureankara(f): 6:04pm On Apr 19, 2018
Mr and Mrs Joseph Mbonu, parents of a 9-month-old baby, Jidenna Mbonu, who died last Friday at FMC , Yenagoa, Bayelsa State have accused an unnamed female doctor of killing the baby.

They alleged that they lost their baby at the tertiary health institution after the doctor repeatedly injected him with an overdose of drug.

The baby’s mother alleged that when the doctor in question came in, she mixed the drug and shook it for close to 30 mins.

She claimed

‘’so, another doctor there asked her why she was shaking the drug for so long, but the female doctor said she had to shake it very well. I reminded her that they used to cut the drug into two and use 2ml syringe. I sought to know why she was using 5ml syringe for my son. But she asked me, ‘’do you want to teach me my job’’?

‘’I brought out my baby’s leg; she then used a 5ml syringe and injected my baby’s leg with speed. She injected him three times. Thereafter, my baby started vomiting on my body and started shrinking. My baby died in my hands.’’

The baby’s father appealed to the police and other relevant authorities to come to their aid.

So they are alleging that:
-The use of a 5ml syringe rather than a 2ml killed the baby.
-That the shaking of the drug three times, instead of once killed their child.
There is no need to respond to these laughable allegations. At worse let it be investigated and if,as it surely will, the death of the child has nothing to do with what they have foolishly insinuated, they should be sued for tarnishing the image of the Dr and b made to pay substantial damage.

I think what they are trying to say is that they don't give the baby up to the amount she gave him. It seems it's not the first time the baby is taking that injection at that place. That's why the reference to 5ml 2ml syringe.

The shaking is not 3times they said up to 30minutes.

Just trying to make you understand their point.

There's nothing laughable about their allegations, they are only stating what they felt led to the loss of their child which they have a right to.
