Good morning mamas, there's this fruit called ugili/ugiri(the back and inside is edible, the seed is dried and used for ogbono) in Igbo and according to Google is called oro in Yoruba and African Bush mango in English. Hubby came back with lots of fruits yesterday and the only thing my nose perceived was the ugiri and the last time I ate it was in my Jss2.

Please help me, is it good for pregnant women cos I'm tired of opening my fridge just to inhale it. I need to eat it too

The smell is divine but the taste is I have no idea if a pregnant woman can eat it though.

Oya let me tell you what does kicks mean.
1. He is responding to you. He kicks more when you're excited because he's excited too. He quitens down when you're down because he understands how you feel.
2. He's telling you I'm fine and healthy. I'm strong. If I can kick so hard it means I'm strong enough for the long hours of labour ahead.
3. He's letting you know he's real. You can introduce him to people based on his kicks. Here, look at his head, that's his back, that's his knee.....trust me you will miss those kicks one day.

There are many ways to induce but the difference between induced labour and spontaneous labour is that IL forces the child to come out (more like the landlord giving the tenant quit notice) especially if you do it before the due date. Its only advisable when the the life of Mom or baby are at risk.

Sorry mama..... Haven't experienced such before but cervical incompetence is a term used in early second semester...... At 33wks the pregnancy has progressed really far......

Awww it's pregnancy hormones. I was always crying b4 I found out I was preggers and I googled and found out it's one of the symptoms. It is well with you my cappo pls don't cry after reading my post o lol

It is sweet but have a bitter taste few mins after eating it.

My experience yesterday.
After eating 5 yesterday, 3 at once and 2 later in the evening. I went to the loo to urinate, wiped and saw a clear M. Plug, it was plenty(sorry TMI). No contraction, Google said is normal. Told my children to finish the remaining one, cleaned the fridge thoroughly so I won't perceive anything again, drank plenty water and prayed for God's protection over my bun. Longer-throat won't kill me at all, biko July still far. My bun is kicking wella.

Good morning dear, congrats on getting to 33 weeks, it is not easy. For your first question on Cervical Incompetence, you have to follow your dr advise on bed rest because it is a risky one. If they had noticed earlier in the pregnancy, they would have done cervical ceclage for you. (Don't knw if that is the spelling) it just means tying of the cervix to prevent miscarriage and early birth or preterm. Please be careful, this one you have not bought your baby things. I know of a lady that gave birth at 30 weeks because of cervical incompetence. Please make sure in your next pregnancy to mention it to the Dr handling you so he will tell you about the ceclage.
