A dark lady wants to turn white yet you claim you have pride. What a shame! Monica Osagie is dark, yet prof wants her body. No, everybody everywhere bleaching aren't only doing it for self esteem. Even when you tell then the "disadvantages far outweigh the benefits", they tell you they're cool with it, then they tell you their motive and all you can do's pray then on their way or what else would you do, pour charcoal on them?

The global multi-billion dollar industry that's kept churning out safer & safer skin whitening, toning and lightening solutions are not out here to play either. And some of them's got even bigger researches going in Anti-Aging directions. They fund the Ad campaigns and the media's shaping of the whitening campaign on levels you never imagine or catch up with.

What about Entertainment? The subtle approval of all things "bright & beautiful" in some corners of the industry , ain't it almost racist? And some couldn't make headway till they blended. Whitening your own skin to make personal progress, they tell, was a little sacrifice to make.

Even the push-pull effect of a globalized" White=Good vrs Black=Bad" pushed some pple over the edge. Pple act like black things ain't good enough for anything except to typify the low-end of the spectrum or the undesirable outcome.

You have the bad words all black. Blacklist, blackout, blackmail, black-Maria; only good thing black in recent times was the BlackBerry phone. Black is even the official color for mourning, you turn up bright for wake-keep, you see the family fina stone ur insensitive arss!
