Apparently, you have not listened to the speech. The president was lamenting and appealing for investment in Nigeria. The multi billion dollars investment commitment by Shell was made possible by such appeal
Maybe one of illiterates according to Buhari. Chai!

GEJ and his looters gang sent the country into recession if we go by the recovery made so far and the evidence of looting During GEJ tenure.

For one moment put on your thinking cap.

I agree that GEJ was a looter per excellence, can you tell me why he and his band of "40 thieves" are still walking free in this country?

Some of them even preparing to run for the upcoming election!

Sorry, but Buhari has failed woefully and he'll be kicked out insha Allah come 2019.

Una no dey tired of this nonsense from the president? If we are even to talk about people not going to shool, he should go to daura and tell his people to stop studying Cow and go to school. I stay in lagos... And i can point to u that in my vicinity that the only few children that don't go to school are hausa children and very very few...
Nigeria isn't the North where they don't go to school... Maybe we need to seperate this Nigeria fast o... Let's see if 80% of the North will go to school... Buhari is a disappointment to humanity with his Nepa bill... See pot calling kettle black...
we will vote for him and nothing will happen

I have listened and watched the video about thrice. Your president told the world that more than half of the youths of his country dont want to do anything and all they wanna do is sit down and do nothing because nigeria has oil and thats what they depend on. In as much as that was not even the question he was asked but For chrisakes how can a president publicly paint his country in that kinda negative light. He is expected to be intelligent. (perhaps his health is failing who knows). He couldnt provide an intelligent answer. You should examine yourself.

Ps: shell and other multinational oil giants should and have always been in contention to increase their stake in nigeria's oil. Because they make huge gains here than in other countries because of widespread corruption in the nigerian government. The president do not need to appeal anything rather it should be Stakeholders from other sectors.

It's the sad state of our Judiciary. Unfortunately, judiciary is not under PMB. It takes months to sort these kind of cases in other climes but I believe there's hope with the committee on anti corruption cases

I wonder why u ppl can't reason well, sometimes I think you guys are jazzed.

Your fighting corruption, preventing people from looting. So why is ordinary Nigerians getting hunger everyday? where is money going?

For your info. Nigeria is more corrupt now than ever because the money is now in the hand of one family.

Oh, is that so?

I guess he's innocent then.

After all what's his business if the people around him are looting. It's not his job as the PRESIDENT of the nation to do anything about it. Right?

And his people that looted, are they covered under executive immunity?

Screen shut this mention and refer to it after 2019. Buhari will be defeated woefully. Don't take it for granted when a hausa says "wallahi" and that is what is on their lips at the moment. The have been patient with him for the fact that he is there own (muslim) aside tha what have the "northern youth" benefited. No amount of damage control can save him. I from the north and I have lived all my life in the north and put it to you that Buhari won't fly come 2019. He should for 2019

It is not fact that nigerians youths are lazy neither is it fact that illiteracy means lazyness. Those your facts are what a president is supposed to play down and not put fuel to fire, if not for anything atleast for the sake of politics. Its hard defending a failure. Ask femi adesina.

I know how a democracy is supposed to work. It's always been the judiciary. Let's all blame the judiciary. The executive is innocent.

In fact, there's no need to consider special courts for trying looters or even propose a special bill to put such cases on a fast track.

There are ways to get things done especially if you are the President of Nigeria.

Hadn't Buhari heard of the judiciary before he made his promise to fight corruption?

I'm not even going to mention the corruption in his own government.

This should show the president that Nigerian youths are creative. While Nigerians are still countering and criticizing the statement made by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday who accused youths of loving freebies above working hard, one 'lazy Nigerian youth'' has decided to turn the controversial statement into a profitable business by printing T-shirts and caps with the caption: “Lazy Nigerian youths”.

Other ''lazy Nigerian youths'' are now making their orders too to encourage one of them who is very ''lazy''.

President Buhari during a business conference in London, was quoted to have said that the youths “do nothing” and want everything for “free” in the oil-rich country.

“A lot of them (Nigerian youths) haven’t been to school and they are claiming, you know, that Nigeria has been an oil-producing country therefore they should sit and do nothing and get housing, health care, education, free,” Buhari allegedly said.
