All three Nigerian descents Joel Asoro, Josh Maja and Ovie Ejaria failed to start for Sunderland in their 1-2 home loss to Burton. Only Asoro tasted action as he was introduced in the 63rd minute. Hope Akpan started and lasted the entire encounter in the colors of the visitors. 2 Likes |

Nedum Onuoha was not listed in QPR's 1-2 loss away to Brentford, as he continued to serve his ban. Teammates Bright Osayi Samuel and Ebere Eze also did not taste action as there were not given the nod to get off the bench. |

Martz101:Ighalo undoubtedly is a deadly striker when when adequately supplied with the ball. Those of you that were unfairly criticizing him after the friendlies, hope your eyes are now opened. You expect a central forward to score goals with a literally empty midfield. 6 Likes |

MetalJigsaw: Nacho played as a creative midfielder for a long time. There is no way from his academy days to the U17 he would play that role without the ability to dribble. 4 Likes |
