All three Nigerian descents Joel Asoro, Josh Maja and Ovie Ejaria failed to start for Sunderland in their 1-2 home loss to Burton. Only Asoro tasted action as he was introduced in the 63rd minute. Hope Akpan started and lasted the entire encounter in the colors of the visitors.

Nedum Onuoha was not listed in QPR's 1-2 loss away to Brentford, as he continued to serve his ban. Teammates Bright Osayi Samuel and Ebere Eze also did not taste action as there were not given the nod to get off the bench.

just trying to make a statement that he deserves his current position in SE.. that's all. But all we want is for him to take this form to Russia.

He really deserves it indeed. I love football... it makes you work really hard to achieve or prove almost anything.

Ighalo with 4 goals today. The scoring spirit that manifested today please I beg you to withhold your hand and make your self manifest against Croatia, against Iceland, against Argentina, against our opponent in the round of 16, against our opponent in the quarter finals, and against our opponent in the semifinals. After that you can withdraw your hand. Amen.....
What do you say about this, anti Ighalos?

Ighalo was rated a perfect 10 by whoscored 4 shots and 4 goals. His goals were in the order of Pk, right foot, left foot and header.
In other words, he scored with almost all the possible parts of his body. well deserved 10/10

Even with Onyekuru and his brilliant club performances last season, who has he benched in the SE? Maybe Isaac Success who was even never really considered as a serious candidate.

Onyekuru's chance of making the final 23 is even slim. So why would Rohr invite Kalu and Olayinka?

The thing is we don't need those players for now. If they were CFs now I would say they have a chance.

Let them keep playing and let's see if they can raise their club performances next season. The future is there's if they continue doing good.
You're not far from the truth but Samuel Kalu is better than S. Moses at present. It's a fact

oga.. an apology shows strength of character. Even if it were a guy who did it, it would have still been a rare thing especially considering the magnitude of the fight. This is someone whose LATE mom was abused. She deserves credit for that, and it is something we all can emulate.

Emulate apology indeed

it will only manifest if there is adequate supply to him
Ighalo undoubtedly is a deadly striker when when adequately supplied with the ball.

Those of you that were unfairly criticizing him after the friendlies, hope your eyes are now opened.

You expect a central forward to score goals with a literally empty midfield.

Many of our top quality players in Europe did not come from the league.. They were directly picked from academies across Nigeria.

For instance, It took Awaziem less than a year of leaving Nigeria to make Porto's first team. It shows that the talent is in Nigeria but our NPFL clubs are not doing proper scouting... We do a lot of recycling players.

I look at most of the Nigerian stars coming up, very few played in the NPFL.

if only they could listen to any of us her that are willing to give them good feedback via research on how our NPFL player fare since they began to move abroad, there lifestyles, adaptation and all that, just for a Lil cash. I'll volunteer. they are always never seeing the hindsight. something conversant with oldies in sports.

He dribbled doesn't mean he has the ability in the past. He probably worked on it.

Nacho played as a creative midfielder for a long time. There is no way from his academy days to the U17 he would play that role without the ability to dribble.
