iyaegin: One of my drivers has been blocked for over a week now because of this. It's bad enough that he orders himself through other people's app, he then start and end the trip on the same spot without moving an inch. I had warned him numerous times to at least move 1km before ending the trip. Now my guy Don drop car and he's out of job. Talk about being smart. 2 Likes |

omonla10: This has worked for me numerous times. Gone are those days when you drive to bay lounge or farm city or The Place and get an instant request. Can we compare Festac/Ago Palace before and now when it comes to wait time for request? We all talk about uber/taxify growing their riders base. Please where do we think that growth is going to occur if not in places that are mostly residential and densely populated, mostly on the mainland where uber/taxify is closer to a necessity than luxury for them. But like I said, One man's food is another man's poison. God bless everybody's hustle. 2 Likes |

TheCar: So nice. It's so Convenient to hide behind an unknown username plus a new account created a few days ago. I just love the power of the internet. It makes us all anonymous and powerful. The internet creates a level playing field. For your information, whoever you are. I'm a business man with a clean record. Quote this anywhere. Also note I have not filled or presented any asset declaration form yet. I'm not aspiring for political Office and even if I do. I'm not sure you will have access to it. You don't know what I own or don't own. You can resort to personal attacks and insults. It's a free world. Now for your information, this is the first and last time I will respond to you so take note. I've got business to do. Bye!!!! 1 Like |

Insurance is very very important for ridesharing, your car is your business, traversing the city making money for you. It only makes sense to protect that investment. Uber announced its insurance policy for drivers, and the figures seem good. Here are Uber’s insurance figures: Medical expenses Up to NGN 2,250,000* Ground ambulance Expenses NGN 20,000 Permanent disability (total or partial) Up to NGN 7,500,000 Death Up to NGN 7,500,000 Funeral Expenses NGN 100,000 Annual cost to partner NGN 0 *Medical expenses amounting to less than ₦10,000 are not covered. But there is one fact that isn’t here, and that fact is very important. Uber’s insurance only covers Period 2 and Period 3. Period 2 kicks off as soon as the driver accepts a ride request, all the way till when the driver picks the rider. Period 3 kicks off as soon as the rider enters your car. These are the two periods you are covered for in Uber’s insurance policy for drivers. This means that Period 1- which is when you are not online on the app or when you are online but don’t have a trip request yet- is intensely risky for Ride share drivers. This is called the rideshare gap. Any unfortunate event that happens during this period is not covered by Uber’s insurance. Needless to say, it is extremely important to safeguard yourself and your vehicle from hazards that may occur as a result of driving around town ferrying passengers all day Do not treat your Insurance with kid gloves, get a good cover, one that takes into cognizance your job as a rideshare partner-driver. Taxi App Guy has done research into the best type of Insurance especially for Ride share drivers. I will be releasing an update next week on just this topic, where to get the best rideshare partner-driver insurance policy. Stay tuned. My name is Bibilade Oyeleke - the Taxi app Guy, i write more at taxiappguy. |

mrsage: Thanks for the feedback and am sorry if you feel hurt with my reply but imagine my shock when I came back online only to see your reply to my post using my old but now deactivated moniker I just have to create a new moniker to let you know that I am hurt with your feedback and we all make mistakes because we are human and if you observe someone shortcomings we should correct with love. Anyway, you might be glad to here that I got some calls made some amendments to my offers and the car is already on the road. So once again, I AM SORRY if you’re hurt. We are all here to learn, make money and make some friends. Peace. 4 Likes |

iyaegin: Actually they have. Some drivers have been blocked for that. If it's just 1more trip to make it you may or may not look for someone who can request you to chop the bonus if time is fast running out. But if them catch u, especially those JJC that will use their own rider account to request themselves, or same phone IP; life blocking awaits you |
