Sorry for derailing the thread with many questions, however, I bet to get more clarification. From the NOC list, articling students fall under the profession of Lawyers, Noc 4112. Which is what I did last year. I believe this journey requires patience, determination and transparency. So if I may ask, would it be better if I just wait to be called to the bar next year, then work another year post bar. Then maybe apply in 2020? |

You can claim the 2 years working experience in a Law Firm. However, your NOC won't be 4112 (Lawyers and Quebec Notaries). It should be 4211 (paralegal and related occupations or 1242 (Legal Administrative Assistant). Dulles25: 1 Like |

This decision to wait is up to you. After you're called, you will need at least one year work experience before you can apply under 4112. Dulles25: |

I'm sorry my question is not related to this quote. I'm not too familiar with this platform. Question: Who do I address my job reference letter to? I need to send the information to my employer so that the letter can be prepared. Thanks. PS: I don't have an ITA yet, just trying to put my documents together. Dulles25: |

Thanks a lot! Another question please. I worked in the same company for a little over 10 years. But the first 7 years was as a contract staff via an outsourcing firm. I was then made a full staff and worked for an additional 3.5 years before retrenchment end of last year. The issue is, I was able to easily find the NOC code for my job role when I was a contract staff, but my roles changed when I became a full staff and I have found it difficult matching it to a NOC code. So do I; A. Use only my job experience as a contract staff? I will have to contact the outsourcing agency for a reference letter but I don't have payslips for that period. B. Merge the job roles for the two positions and explain to the HR manager so I can get a reference letter to cover it. I have all the neccesary documents to prove my employment for that period; payslips, offer letter, confirmation of employment letter. Will this been seen as fraud? I don't want to jeopardize my chances. Thanks again.... Ethelia: |

Good day house, I will like to get your opinion about my current situation... I have pass my IELTS since last month but was unable to create my profile because I was unaware my BSc has to be verified by WES. Meanwhile, my PGD had already been verified since last year so I have to now wait for WES on my MSc verification. My questions: Is it advisable to get all my documents ready i.e reference letter, once I create my profile? My spouse did her MSc in the UK, what is the process of getting a police certificate, is there a way we can get an express Police certificate? Yes she has a friend that currently lives in the city where she studied. Lastly, I will like to submit my application latest 2 weeks after I receive ITA (by God`s grace), what should be my concerns? POF has been ready since last year. Thanks |

Tojued: I actually called CIC and an agent responded saying the case is settled and decision has been made. Hence nothing can be done. She advised that I open a new profile if I want to apply again. |

He had evaluated his PgD alone, he needs both PgD and BSc to claim two certificates. This is the issue when we give advice of 'evaluate your highest degree'. This advice only works when the highest degree is at least a Masters. yeyerolling: 6 Likes |

yeyerolling: If you have 2 weeks and a contact in London who can scan the report to you, do not pay for premium processing. Pay the 45 quid and you’ll get it in 2 weeks or less. 2 Likes |

Riddler32: There's a place in your application whereby you are asked if you have been denied or refused entry into any country, that's where you will state it. I didn't have to submit my denial letter, I just stated the reason they gave and told them I have since been grated the visa since then. Also you'll be requested to scan any current visas you have. 1 Like |

Not really @ bolded. You are required to scan every page in the current passport that has stamps, visa etc (in addition to the data page). Current visas may be in the old passport ....these ones do not need to be scanned. peddy001: 2 Likes |

Clayrex101: You need to do yourself a big favor by visiting the CIC website and read the requirements for Express Entry/Applying for Permanent residency. These questions you asked means you'll muddle things up as you get on. Please go and read up on the website including PCCs so you know what you're doing, and not come back asking more questions. 3 Likes |

Good Afternoon Good People, I created my express entry profile earlier in the year my score is 419, I have been trying to boost the score and trying the pnp options, long story short a friend told me I could add the job I was doing while in school to my work experience as I was a part-time student. This I did and the my status as since be showing "Update Not Submitted". I need your advise if anyone has had such experience, what you did or do I edit and remove the work experience since I did put it initially. Thank you |

segzy14:The kind people wen dey this Nairaland sef. So this is the customer care service of your bank abi ? Let me answer you though, the rate on XE is the official international rate, apparently its different from that of CBN and even the rates the banks uses. Its like saying you playing a car race game and you physically participating in the car race . Of course they are not same although they might be similar. 8 Likes |

@peddy001, thanks for respond. In the application field for visa denial, i stated the reasons and scanned all pages of passport that contains visas. However, I wrote LOE on the visa denial, merged the visa denial letter pdf and uploaded document in the optional holder provided before submitting. peddy001: |
