segzy14: Simply because your bank needs to pay salaries of your friends and relatives who are bankers Simply because your bank needs to pay dividends to its various sharehoders who have put resources together for the smooth running of its operations. Should I continue? A little service charge, conversion charges of hedged funds have to be put into consideration. 3 Likes |

Please guys, help clarify my doubt. In sending the my passport and other documents for COPR, do I really need to send IMM008 family update even if nothing has changed in my status? The IMM008 form I saw online seems like a new visa application form asking for all details. Do I really need to fill it (about 5 pages) even as nothing changed in my status? Those that have received their visa and COPR from Accra should educate me please. This is an excerpt of the ppr mail: UPDATED FAMILY INFORMATION: You must advise us of any change in your marital status or family composition. All family members must be listed on your IMM008 and Additional Family Information forms. Failure to comply may result in a delay in the issuance of your visa. 2 Likes |

It is this sort of irrelevant queries and discussion that makes the thread grow out of proportion. This thread is for people who needs clarification on the Express Entry process and help on specific issues related to the process. NOT WHY YOUR BANK YOU CHARGED YOU CERTAIN AMOUNT! If you need help with you bank, Call your account officer or better still walk into a branch and fight! Pleaseeeeeee segzy14: 2 Likes |

hakeemgp: Wow...Praise God for you.. I have a similar story Applied with hubby as PR- score was 38..something. Hubby's career record is impeccable - mine na just God. Decided to apply as PA- CRS 443- ITA - Nov 14 AOR - Feb 12 ADR - asking for hubby's background for the past 10 years- I weak. Sent in all travel docs, references - whosai? Second ADR 2 days later, Hah...what's a matter? Sent in docs again with detailed LOE in impeccable lingo. For where? Application cancelled first week in march. Trying times for me and hubs- each silently blaming each other...anyway- I called CIC- to ask for an explanation- agent cross checks file- turns out hubby's online masters in UK was for a duration of more than 6 months- more like 6 years and no explanation for why there's es no PCC. Chai. Explained to agent that this was a distance learning program o/ na from naija everything dey happen. Said he'd make a note but advised to reapply. I just took the good advise and reapplied. Fast forward one week - Application got reopened. The rest is history cos everything just went like clockwork. PPR in less than 2 weeks COPR in less than 2 weeks after that. Why the long tale? To every hopeful...hang in there- do all you can and let the lord handle this. Our leaders have made us desperate to leave but God has given us Canny land as an alternative- HE will finish what HE has begun. Thanks to all who keep this thread positive and resourceful. God bless us all. 47 Likes |

Epudome: Recreating a profile doesn't mean you will automatically get NOI from Ontario. Usually they set their criteria for selecting profiles that will receive EOI. One of such know criterion is a recently created profile. Another might be sending EOI to profiles that fell short of the Express entry ITA cutoff by small margins (this usually makes such recipients to have a hard time deciding whether to accept the NOI or expect a lower cutoff in subsequent draws). Also note that recently, they invited profiles lower than 400 that can speak French while last year they did bonanza to IT guys maybe because there was a shortfall to be filled in that area. 1 Like |

Epudome: Its not automatic sir The Canadian province of Ontario has issued a total of 142 Notifications of Interest to candidates in the Express Entry pool in two draws, which took place on April 11 and 12. The draws conducted were for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)’s Express Entry-aligned French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream (FSSW) and Skilled Trades Stream. Since the draw was for candidates who met the criteria for the FSSW and Skilled Trades Stream, there was no minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score requirement to receive a Notification of Interest, or NOI, for these draws. https://www.cicnews.com/2018/04/ontario-continues-to-make-use-of-express-entry-aligned-streams-with-142-new-invitations-0410509.html#gs.IChwvpc |
