So i paid someone 44000 last year December to help fasten the sending of my transcripts and warned in severely that it must be sent through the schools email, i got a mail from ICES around 1st week in February that the mail was sent from a gmail account so i was asked to resend through appropriate channel. I had to travel back to lagos and started the transcripts processing all over again and paid 40k this time i went to school myself and everything was sorted out and sent within 1 week. My transcripts got to ICES 21 march and I received the evaluated copy 20th april. Well its one of the challenges we encounter during this canny journey.

Is the Nikkah cert, same with what court gives? I mean does the mosque have a permission to give the certificate? Has ur application been approved?

My fear is still on the validity of the Nikkah certificate and Declaration of marriage. But since you said you used it, I think I should be alright. Did you put any LOE?

Meds Passed July 11, 2017
Application Cancelled- July 28th 2017 (Reason UK PCC wasn't uploaded, although I applied for a UK PCC as I did a Masters in UK but PCC arrived a week after AOR, so I raised a CSE to upload the PCC, I also sent an email to support this.) Nevertheless application was cancelled as incomplete.
All application fees refunded after 3 weeks.
Fast forward - March 3rd 2018- Mail arrived there was an update on profile. Checked and I read my profile has been re-opened. There was a review of my profile and it was determined that I submitted a complete application, hence I was asked to pay new processing fees to continue my application.
[b]2 ADRs followed
New Medicals required- April 2nd 2018
Medicals passed -April 16th 2018.
Profile status changed to submitted April 19th 2018
PPR April 21st 2018.
Reason I'm sharing this timeline and events is to encourage anyone that is going through a similar situation...there is HOPE!

In that case, will you still maintain that, IELTS is a fraud.
My problem with IELTS is that, some of the markers are not capable. If not, how else, do you explain someone getting a 6.5 and upgraded to a 7.5 or an 8 after a remark?

They bite off more than they can chew. The jobs keep coming in droves. Fast and furious kind of a thing with deadlines.

She took the test on the 10th of Feb. I reckon she applied for the remark the following week, cos I kept urging her to. She didn't even know she could. Probably sometime between the 12th to 16th.

Update: Sorry, I mixed it up. She received her result on the 23rd of February and applied on the 28th of February. So, it's a little over 7 weeks.

I feel like 4211 applies more than 1242. That is paralegal , because of the job descriptions, and it requires a Law degree which I have.

Simulate your scores using the crs tool http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Try out your crs score using band 7 result, and then band 8 result.

Then visit page zero of this thread and sin no more.

There are extra points for those that are able to attain initial advanced English language profiency coupled with their level of qualifications....with 8777LWRS you can achieve that and anything short of that will make your CRS score looks 'average'.... or we say CRS booster

Band 7 or 7.5 is not good for Listening only.

Morning friends.

My wife was diagnosed of post child birth depression. She's on medication. She has since recovered well and has no single trace of any anti-social behaviour whatsoever, however, she's still on prescription drugs. Her doctor advised we include her health history in our submission because she might require to continue her treatment over there. My concern is, can we be denied based on medical inadmissibility because of this?

Things are getting a bit odd in this thread.

I pray for more good news for us all.
