Let me break this down to the IQ-challenged :

1. She has a strong case.But she didn't pass the course.

2. If she had passed it truly, she wouldn't have gone to the trouble of recording the audio tape

3. She is now calling for the scripts at this stage
If she actually failed,it would damage her credibility.

4. I am not supporting the lecturer.

Summary to the rabid dogs : SHE HAS ALMOST WON.She shouldn't go overboard claiming she passed a course ONLY TWO PEOPLE IN CLASS FAILED

They will punish the DON, but I will advise the young lady to leave the school after the investigation.

The might make sure she gets bad grades that will demoralize her.

She has done the right thing. She doesn't need high grade for the programme. It is MBA. A professional programme and not academic. Hence, she only needs 40 each in all her courses and Dissertation to graduate

As any type of student, you can request for a paper to be remarked but there is an unwritten
code among lecturers even from different institutions that calling for a paper to be remarked
is an insult to them. I have at least two solid cases from experience to back my self up.
And in those cases the victims were not some average student but student with consistent
history of stellar performance.
The remarking is not the problem per se, but what happens after.

It is irrelevant whether she failed the course it not. What is at issue is whether
the lecturer misused his position.

People who know OAU well know that you cannot enter OAU MBA (regular) with any grade less that second class upper and must have passed the entrance exam.

This is not the first case against this randy professor either. She's not going to move anywhere. She will graduate from IFE in flying colours

Hmm I can see the lady roping herself and the panel will end up asking for her script to be remarked
The allegation has now changed to she was failed cuz she refused the sexual advancements of the alleged randy don. A PGD student scoring 33 and did not think of requesting for her paper to be remarked if she was sure of what she wrote in the exam.
The alleged don may not get away this time if the allegation is established but the lady made an initial wrong move that may snowball into unnecessary victimization of students especially females and making life difficult for students.
She could have addressed this matter better than what it is now but we are waiting to know the final outcome

This will actually rope the lecturer. My reasons are these:
1. An external prof will be asked to remark it with the same marking scheme. MBA exams are not word for word. It's more of application and perspectives.

2. Prof 5rounds may decide to tear some pages from the script if he hasn't even destroyed it already.

From all indications, Monica is a smart girl. She recorded him for evidence and also got a lawyer. She's still going to sue the school for releasing her name to the public and causing her emotional distress.

She has already won, the randy he-goat would be punished for sure. the essence of my post is that she shouldn't go overboard.

In America, if your credibility as a witness is shredded by a lawyer, that is the end. What will happen if she actually failed? What if the lecturer says they should check her undergraduate history and it turns out that she's been running the same schemes?

You would be surprised when the lecturer sues for defamation of character. The "wisemen" here can't just process that
