My seniors in house please do I need a reference letter from the bank for my salary account. I'm submitting my salary account history as part of the proof of experience. So that they can reconcile payslip to salary alert. Unfortunately the bank is saying that the reference letter will take a while to get. Do I really need it for this? I have already obtained reference letter for the savings account I'm submitting as part of my proof of funds (another bank). So do I need it for the salary account? @glitteringstar please assist |

Flunitrazepam: Very easy to remark with 15k. However, chances of getting more than that band is very low. But hey, no crime in trying. all the best 1 Like |

smslive2:Please let me ask my "those question" b4 we move on to part 4. Hmmmmmm, I am awaiting my ECA report to enter the pool. CRS is 450. I claimed points for my brother who is a PR. My issue is my brother listed me as adopted while filling his papers over there. Reason for this is a long story . So how can I proof the adopted sister relationship? Our dad is late but mumsy still dey. Cc. Justwise, newmum0615,40manlappy, all EE experts. |

Additional points for candidates with siblings in Canada To get these points, candidates will need to show that the sibling is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is living in Canada and is 18 years of age or older. The sibling in Canada must share a mother or father with the principal Express Entry applicant or their spouse or common-law partner. This relationship can be through blood, marriage, common-law partnership or adoption Provided you have documentary evidence to satisfy the above, you should be fine.. Documents like Birth Certificate. sunrize: |

Obyroli: you can claim two or more certificates there are several evaluation bodies each with advantage and disadvantage. wes is fastest but nigerian schools usually delay in verifying so becomes slower. i believe someone used ICES the other day for two or more and was successful plus no verification needed. ICES more expensive than WES though. Do your research yourself and take a decision. 1 Like |

linaskreat: the most cost effective way to send your transcript to wes is via NIPOST. It is also the slowest and most risky way. the most cost efficient way to send your certificate is via hellofax. ask google for wes' fax number, also ask google how to use hellofax. 3 Likes |

sunrize: I don't believe I've come across a similar case on this thread. The issue is, you might not only need adoption papers, but the papers will probably need to be dated the date of your fictional adoption many years ago. Start by finding out adoption process in Nigeria and what papers follow. Ministry of Women and Children Affairs in your state will be a good starting point. you can also make enquiries at any orphanage close to you. |

sunrize: My spouse and sibling in Canada also didn't have birth certs so we used baptismal certs and their respective marriage certificates which stated the same parent.( And so far no issue with that). So you need to show that you were adopted. 2 ways: adoption documents if the process was done in court. Or customary adoption (if allowed in Nigeria, am in Ghana and it is legal here). You need to prove that that you have lived together and that his parents paid e.g your fees, bills, you living address must have been the same as his.if you can get all these kinds of receipts documents/old pictures of you/him/parents, that should work with a detailed loe and affidavit attesting to the facts. The lawyers on the thread can shed more light. 1 Like |
