I tell u the delay in most prosecution is 90% coming from the police....on several occasions the court will be ready but the IPO would not be on duty. Other times, the IPO would conduct the investigation so "shabbily" that the defendant ought not to be at court...at times, the prison warder will fail to bring the suspect to court because the suspect didn't "settle" them...as a respectful justice do say...it is the orange with the least juice thar the police (prosecutors) bring to court...ive been to courts im Lagos, Kano and Ilorin and to be sincere, those guys are working day out yo see justice but the prosecution is always very bad.
