It really sucks that alot of people went to school, did really well and still earn 80k after years and years of graduation and work experience.

Less than $250 a month?! How do people survive and save? And the evil bit is that so called multinationals are now picking up on the trend of praying Nigerians crap.I heard MTN and Airtel have staff with degrees they paid 50k or so? Its ridiculously evil. Its not a coincidence that people are moving in droves to eastern Europe, America & Canada

Its also not a coincidence that you find people working and still selling all sorts of things on your Twitter/Instagram/Facebook. Nigerians are incredibly poor & really just want a decent life.

Na wa. A friend dropped out of a foremost medical school in Nigeria in Yr 5 to go hustle in Yankee. A colleague earning 560k a month resigned to go be a painter in Canada

The medical school person earned about N800k last month. Banker-painter earns about N40k a day, over a million a month

Initially, I had reservations abt some of these stories so I did a double check and probed further. Appaz, med school person wasnt even working more than 10 hours a day.Painter-Banker was working just abt 10 hour days and had registered a company & employed 2 immigrants. Pretty shitty what we have become as a Nation.

First to fourth paragraph could be the reality but the rest are just half baked fictional stories. That friend that dropped out of school in the fifth year to go and hustle is unreasonable and would ultimately regret such act. To go and hustle as what? A professional or a menial worker keeping 3 odd jobs in order to make ends meet? Why won't he/she have patience and complete the remaining two years and become a Dr. for life!
Earning 800k in Nigeria is staggering but earning the equivalent in America which is less than $3000 is meagre, and he/she could barely keep pace with bills. The painter registered a company according to the story, now as a painter, does he get painting job every hour of the 10 hours?
Sure, America is first world and Nigeria is third world but even in America, life is difficult especially when you are an illegal immigrant.
