FAAC meeting crash oooo.... because the hardworking Bubu and his NNPC for d second month running have not remitted the amount they are meant to.... so brace up for no salary yet...

The three tiers of government on Thursday shared N626.82 billion as monthly allocations for April.

This represents statutory allocation, Value Added Tax (VAT) and foreign exchange equalization for the month.

Addressing journalists at the end of the rescheduled Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting, the Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, said the figure was N20 billion lower than the N647.39 billion shared by the three tiers of government in March.

Speaking on Wednesday’s postponement of the meeting, the AGF said FAAC members rejected the revenue figures declared by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

He said there was ongoing reconciliation of the Corporation’s revenue figures for February.

Idris also disclosed that the Excess Crude Account (ECA) dipped from $2.3 billion to $1.830 billion after $496 million had been withdrawn for the purchase of Tucano military jets from United States.

At the end of the meeting, the Federal Government received N263.102 billion, while state governments went home with N167.511 billion and local government councils got N126.293 billion.

N54.518 billion was shared as 13 per cent mineral revenue to oil producing states, while N15.402 billion was given to Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

Somebody should confirm what my principal is saying about ube staffs, that our salaries is about to be increased in that the federal governemnt will begin paying ube staffs asides the one rivers state government is paying us. Is this true ?
He also said minimum wage is 65k now and that from August we will start receiving it I.e our current salary divided by the current minimum wage times the recent minimum wage will give you your new salary. Eg 65000/18000×65000=234722.22.
somebody should please confirm this OK!

pls somebody should confirm,I heard Etche UBE did biometrics yesterday at UST.... ,some spill over from ogu/bolo went there yesterday ,pls someone should confirm....I tot they have postponed it indefinitely

Biometrics was not postponed. Okrika LGA did since 26th April.
It's UBE that is doing biometrics now. senior secondary will start theirs when waec ends.

Make your principal no go over hype orna finish for the new minimium wage matter later you come dey disappointed when you see the little package. My advice,just carry on like nothing concern you... We have been here before...

. I can not help but laugh. 234722.22 naira in this naija? This principal should think of other ways to encourage and motivate you guys. Fg/labour have not even reached any conclusion, we've started carrying news about. Chai

Hahahaha because of the political and economical backwardness of the country we've lost sight of our right to minimum wage as high as its commensurate with economic reality. We think its impossible. There are two factions in labour now 1. NLC and the ULC... NLC proposed 56k or so ULC propose 105k NLC pushed up to 65k and ULC is willing to come down to a reasonable minimum .... When they agree on a position and present it to government isn't it possible to earn that amount as civil servants ? Abiii na only us waka come ? Hahahaha

I have updated my profile to step including the document uploads. just before I could click on the final submission icon, there was need for me to cross check my entered data which I discovered mismatch of credentials. I had to abandone the use of mobile for laptop. but logging in the portal is now my problem. I need help quickly

When you click staff registration you will look below and see continue registration just enter your email address you registered the PIN with and the serial number of the PIN and not the PIN it will open

pls go to CONTINUE REGISTRATION SECTION, enter the email u used and the serial number on the ticket. E.g STF-01... Pls add the STF- with the number otherwise it won't go. On ther other hand if you already click on final submission u can't login anymore till after the biometric capture. Call d helpline to get the reference number .
