comfort zone?

Let's explore this very well then. Alves has only played in Spain and France, I mean no offence but is the Ligue 1 truly a league? It would be a comfort zone for any player, just ask Memphis Depay. So let's say the only tough job was in Spain. Then for Brazil what has he achieved in international football? 4th place without even featuring prominently.

Now we go to Lahm, I don't need to talk about his records in Germany, you can google them. Then for the German team I am sure he has made the semifinal of every major tournament he has played in since making his debut. Not to mention that he did leave his comfort zone to play as a DMF and was still outstanding in that position, so it's funny that you should use the 'comfort zone' against him.

I am not sure this argument has anything to do with his assists for Messi. At Barca he plays almost as a wingback and Busquets covers perfectly for him. At Bayern though Lahm hasn't had it well enough, they also recruit attack minded LBs like Alaba for example forcing Lahm to always drop into a back three to allow the LB attack and even in Germany he does the same, I am not sure you expect him to be giving assists from there like that.

Just a note Dr., Alves played in Italy with Juve too.

You have an unhidden hatred for the EPL...

The ligue1 is shite if u care to know... It used to be interesting when the likes of Marseille, Lille,Lyon,Montpellier,Saint Etienne, etc used to play good football... but since the Arabs took over PSG,they have reduced the league to rubbish.... ironically, PSG need 4 more league title to equal the all time winner record...

Thank the gods for Marseille who are playing some good football in the Europa league...

All I can say is lol.

Hated for Epl just the way I supported Arsenal against ATM and want Liverpool to win the champions league.

Epl fan boys think Epl is everything they believe if it's not Epl the league is farmers league.

Epl is not a farmers league But Everton came last in the group stage in the Europa league behind some country club I don't know.

Ligue 1 is shit no doubt but Monaco kicked mancity out of the champions league last season and Monaco won the league last season ahead of the oil money men psg

No, but we’ve also had players that did well in friendlies but later fizzled out. Is Dike even in the MLS today? After he got injured I doubt he ever really got back.
Maybe he’s the 2nd tier American division today. I have to check.

Your wright up make me laugh, so you didn't watch Alves in italy with juventus or you choose not to see him even when he featured in the champions league final.

Alves has been consistent since his sevilla days and was highly sort after and even won trophies for sevilla, move to Barca and was one of the best players there.

You said my argument has nothing to do with his assist, really? so we should take that out??...beating iniesta and xavi to that ain't easy my brother.

You talk about Lahm playing in the midfield, if you really know Alves you will know he plays in the midfield too.

You analysis of bayern recruiting a left back and Lahm dropping to back three make me
understand how less you know about Lahm, when alaba came in he went back to RB which was his prefered position until PEP came and move him sometime to the midfield.

Lahm is a good RB but not compare to Alves, Alves has appeared in all FIFPPRO world 11 since 2009 except 2010 and 2011 and Lahm only appeared once, that should sum the argument.

NOTE: Alves is the most decorated footballer ever.

My bad for missing out on the Juve days, my bad really. So that's Ligue 1 and Italian league, oh Juve have won the last 5 Scudettos if I am not mistaking, that sums that league up too. Lahm did play in how many champions league finals?i can count three so I think he did very well too.

What business does Alaba and Lahm playing at RB have together? Lahm has always been at RB, seems you dodn't get the point. Bayern play a 4-3-3, in 2012 during the total football era they usually drafted into a 3-4-3, which means one of the fullbacks drops into a conventional 3 man backline and Lahm was usually the one dropping back(just like Abidal used to do at Barca) and Alaba was allowed to push forward and what do you know, Alaba scored loads of goals for a defender, probably what Lahm would have done if he was allowed to attack.

When you talk about assists to Messi I am left wondering if you think Lahm should have more assists to Messi or something. Azpilicueta has more assists to Moratta I believe, who cares?

Being a midfielder(a DMF, the most important there is) and playing as a fullback in a psuedo 4-3-3/3-4-3 formation is another thing. Alves has never played as a true midfielder and the only time he did, I think against Hercules some years ago he failed, when he played as a WF too he failed woefully, versatility isn't his thing at all.

Has Godin ever appeared in the FiFPro? That's all I can ask you.

Fake Allegations Against Gent Moses Simon Could Land Journalist In Prison – Rohr Warns

April 28, 2018

Prison sentence will likely be the case for an online publication in Nigeria if they don’t desist from publishing fake stories against the person of Super Eagles Forward Moses Simon.

Coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr made this known while voicing out his unhappiness about a particular online portal in Nigeria, which has been laying fake allegations on the Gent forward.

Rohr who was also indicted by same publication as the brain behind the decision of Simon to dump his long term agent Tony Harris for D-W Sports Management laughed off the speculations as wide off the mark.

The Franco-German coach of the Super Eagles warned the website to be careful because it’s very possible that a lawyer will one day instigate a case that could see them end on Prison.

“I’m 45 years now in professional football, why should I start it now? These people must be very careful, saying such bad things about our players, especially about Moses Simon; about his private life, very bad allegations. They have to be careful because one day a lawyer will come and they will finish in prison,” Rohr stated.

By Adeboye Amosu

Nigeria forward Olanrewaju Kayode has been voted man of the match in Shakhtar Donetsk’s 1-0 win against Mariupol in a Ukrainian League game on Friday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports
Kayode scored the winning goal in the 65th minute of the encounter played at the Illichivets Stadium.

Taison Barcellos Freda came second with 28 %, while Viktor Kovalenko and Sergey Krystov got 15% and and 4% votes respectively.

Kayode, who is on loan at Shakhtar Donetsk from English champions Manchester City, has scored two goals in four league games for the Miners, three in five games in all competitions.

Shakhtar sit at the top of the table with 69 points, six more than second-placed Dynamo Kiev who could cut the lead to three with a win against Vorskla on Saturday.

Paulo Fonseca’s men are on course to win a domestic double this season after booking a place in the final of the Ukrainian Cup last week.
