Plus we can't expect out players to at the flip of a switch turn on their form when the WC roles around, his form will be decided by the last few games of the season. Honestly I would rather have my player be in a relegation dog fight than be in those 8-12 position that are not even contending for Europa league. Especially strikers because they will stop scoring by force.
