Mickael2: This the last time I will talk about this, you said Lahm was not a stop gap LB but he did well there and played there many years while we know his a RB why are you contradicting your self, who said Lahm was forced, How? how can you compare Lahm who spend most part of his career playing in left back to an Alves that have always been the first choice RB everywhere he play. Bros just Messi, figo and Alves made up 100 assist, not just for barcelona, last season with juventus he had the highest assist in the team ans created the highest goal scoring chance in the champions league. Bros if me, Fifa(Fifpro11) and statistics can not convince you then let's end it...thank you |

Simmy, Dessers, Sadiq and Kayode seem to be the contenders for an inclusion in the 30 man list. Who wins? I doubt more than 2 of them (if any) would get a look in. MetalJigsaw: |

Penalty-Box Predator Odion Ighalo Does It Again, Takes Tally To 6 Goals In 2 Games Published: April 29, 2018 Former Watford striker Odion Ighalo is firing on all cylinders six weeks before the start of the 2018 World Cup after netting a brace in Changchun Yatai's 2-1 win against Shanghai SIPG FC on Sunday afternoon local time. The Nigeria international bagged four goals in his team's 5-2 rout of Guizhou Zhicheng in the Chinese Super League last weekend, with all the goals scored from inside the box. In the 14th minute, Ighalo beat the offside trap to sprint onto a through ball before firing past goalkeeper Yan Junling inside the 18-yard box but Wu Lei restored parity for the visitors four minutes before half-time. On 69 minutes, the Nigerian attacker received a pass from Marinho from just outside the box, made two touches that took him to the penalty area before firing an stoppable shot with his right foot to give Changchun Yatai a 2-1 lead. Following their third win of the new season, Changchun Yatai occupy the seventh position in the provisional standings with 11 points from eight games. Ighalo has scored seven goals in eight games in the league, more than Argentina international striker Ezequiel Lavezzi (Hebei CFFC) who has six goals to his name. http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=27539 |

Simeon "Simy" Nwankwo's Brace today for Crotone in their 4-1 win over Sasauolo in the Italian Serie A makes it his 4th goal in his last three league games and 6 in 20 serie A apps this season. He has made 21 appearances this season (20 in serie A and one in coppa Italia) and has an overall of 6 goals 1 assist. He's been on fire in recent games starting from that wicked bicycle kick scored against Italian champs Juventus and against Buffon. His goals have so far dragged Crotone to 14th place on the serie A table putting them five points clear of the relegation waters. |

Crotone's Simy Sets New Record: Scores In Three Consecutive Games For Three Different Clubs Crotone's Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo is playing his way into Nigeria's 35-man provisional World Cup roster set to be announced in the coming days after netting for the third successive game in his team's 4-1 win over Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon. Before today's meeting at Stadio Ezio Scida (Crotone), the lanky striker had tallied in games against traditional clubs Juventus and Udinese. In the 16th minute, a teasing cross delivered into the box by Bruno Martella was not properly cleared by the Sassuolo defense and Simy was the first to pounce on the loose ball to score. He closed the scoring with his fourth league goal in the 89th minute after dribbling past the opponents. This is not the first time Simy has scored in more than two consecutive games, he first achieved the feat while wearing the jersey of Portimonense during the 2012-13 season, scoring consecutively against Trofense, Porto II, Freamunde and Feirense. He also found the net in three straight games for Gil Vicente, against Desportivo Aves, Feirense and Farense in his last three games before bidding farewell to Portugal in the 2015-16 campaign. Away from Simy's impressive individual records, his recent goals have helped Crotone climb out of the relegation zone as they are placed 14th in the 20-team table with 34 points. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=27541 Russia 2018 WC Countdown: 46 days 2 hours 5mins to go 1 Like |
