One of the big stories making rounds in the Nigerian high society is the birth of twins by former Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria (MGBN), Rep. Lynda Ikpeazu in the U.S.

The ranking lawmaker was the winner of the first Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant.

Details around the birth of the twins, a girl and a boy, which many have celebrated as good news remains sketchy. Calls and SMS sent to Ms. Ikpeazu’s known number didn’t get a response.

A woman can still procreate even above that age. The menopause age is not a static one. It varies across women. Reasons could be the food, lifestyle, environment, genetics etc. So it's false for you to accuse science of saying a woman's menopause starts at 50.

But then, that a woman can procreate at that age doesn't make it right - genetically. The probability of procreating a child with down syndrome and other genetic abnormalities is high. While it's good that she procreated, it's not genetically proper.

It's better to adopt at that age than procreate.
