It's really annoying to see someone who's yet to play a single game for his football club demanding to be invited to the national team.

If you're good, prove it first by playing for your club side ... that would convince the national team coaches of your quality and the need to invite you. It's only in Nigeria that you'd see a player who's yet to play an official match for his football club demanding a national team invite!

BS upon BS!!

You're right... I think the goal keeper crisis gave him the chance

As we do a count down to Russia 2010 kick-off, I have decided to share some things as part of my contributions to The sights and sounds of Russia:

Starting with the national Anthem of Russia. That happens to be about what I like most about the country grin. It happens to be my 3rd favorite national anthem. (1st Nigeria, 2nd USA).
With English lyrics.

The grade 2 is not good at this time because WC is approximately 6 weeks away. When will such player get back to fitness after he is healed?

So, it is better none falls into grade 2 else such player will be rendered useless for the world cup.

Well, he should concentrate on getting playing time at his club and not be thinking the world cup. You gotta walk first before you run.

Well, even with the goalkeeping crisis, I would still not consider him until he starts seeing action at his club side.

Anyway, I don't blame him sha. The folks we should blame are those paid naija journos.

Concentrate on what? He was asked a question that he has every right to answer. He didn't say "Rohr must pick me" . When he was in the 3rd division people were complaining. Now that another keeper is doing the same we want to use it against him

I'm suspecting it might be btw grade1 and grade2, depending he could still make it back in weeks...normally

grade 1, u just feel something there when the injury occurs, any kick of the ball is pain for u...

grade2, u start limping and would be in pain..

grade 3, you can't even walk when it happens..

Ndidi still stood up and was limping after that injury...he might just make it back..plus he is still young, those muscles would heal faster..

Yes sir!! 2 cappos in China. The first goal reminds me of his Cameroon goal were he seems to be the only one that knows where the ball is going. That was not luck but pure natural instinct.

Well, a smart person would have explained that he'll concentrate on commanding a starting place at his club before he starts thinking about the world cup. The world cup is a privilege earned through playing well for your football club. It's not a favor doled out to individuals.

Well I couldn't tell you wat smart people do but teams almost never use their third choice keeper and he was a part of the qualifying team meaning if he got selected it wouldn't be outlandish. No need to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Hamstring injury heals between 10 days to 6 weeks depending on the severity..

Younger players usually heal faster than older players.

Our first game in the WC is on the 16th, so even in the worst case scenario, we should still get both players healed before the WC.

I thought there is a rule by FIFA that bans government interference in football?

Why is Chris Giwa trying to do us evil na? Can't he wait till after the world cup to resolve whatever issue he still has with Pinnick and the NFF? why try and create distraction and a potential FIFA sanction during this period?
Somebody would just wake up one day on the wrong side of the bed and try and deny almost 200milllion peeps a chance at the world cup. This guy has just earned himself the haters card. See FIFAs threat if we don't sort ourselves out asap. With the way Nigerians carry football matter for head, he may not live to see the next week if we miss the mundial.

Chris Giwa is back again like Salvador in 2nd Chance, to cause trouble with interference from the Supreme Court. Took us to CAS and now FIFA threatens we may miss the mundial if we don't sort ourselves out very fast. No sympathy here atall.
