The most frustrating things in Nigeria are mainly infrastructure related. Unstable electricity, water, bad roads, religious bigots and too many unexposed individuals. 4 Likes |

obonujoker:Hahaha, I don't need to travel out. l have seen my money here. Waiting for opportunity: capital to catch in. There are tens of area to invest and live big in Nigeria but only the creative mind and risk taker will posses it. In fact any Nigeria youth who doesn't know what to do with 4m is either lazy or lack capacity to take risk. l have about 3 business ideas and I only want investors. I quarantee such person return of investment in 2years. 10 Likes |

Business is not for everyone. Some people aren't just cut out for it, and not all business ventures are successful. Again, everybody has their own life/decisions to live/make. Some people can start a business with 10k Naira and over time, it becomes a multi-million Naira venture. Some people start with even 50m Naira and in the end, it's a total waste. In the current economic climate in Nigeria, what business can you do with 4m Naira that guarantees success? It's a honest question, I'm curious. 16 Likes 2 Shares |

Grupo:You can start from even $3000. You need the following before you start 1. Payoneer card 2. Amazon store. You can open one after getting the card. When these things are ready, then i will link you with a store for tutoring. 1 Like |

signature2012:Nice advise anyway. But too much caution most times makes one a pauper. Almost zero risk on Amazon. All the finances are in your account and if he likes, he will learn it and run himself which is best. For those with larger accounts, a managed store is a must. 1 Like |

obonujoker:You life, you decision. Even if I wait till 70years didn't Buhari preside over you without WAEC certificate. Hope some of his age mates had BSc etc. Destiny differs and time is process and not really a parameter. You don't measure success by age. I wish you the best bro. I believe you will be a known millionaire by 35. Congrats 11 Likes 1 Share |

theamerican: Thanks for this thread, I have learnt a few things from you & I hope to learn more. But I have some few disagreements. It is wrong to say 4M cannot start a viable business in Nigeria. I have a family friend who started his Poultry with 1M Naira loan from as at last year, using his father's free land in Agbara, Lagos. He's has made double of the money last year Dec after deducting expenses and workers pay. Another friend started supply of cement & building materials in Ajah, Lagos with 3.5M. using his Dad's bus to deliver to some locations when necessary. He has been able to have a small depot in Ajah itself & has made a turnover of 100% within 8 months because Ajah is still a new Housing development site & cement is highly required. 4M can also get you a land in Ibeju Lekki, speaking from recent experience. But then, When 'Naira hit 500/$1' in 2016. Companies including Jumia, Konga and many more companies who are even ashamed to speak out, who hired more than 2000 staffs lost Billions. Nigerian's like me also had issues in purchasing Electronics which was Imported in dollar rates because the prices were tripled during that period & my Salary could not even afford anything. I just wanted to point out to you that there are some things you can still achieve with 4M averagely in Nigeria and also be open minded. I agree with your other points & gives zero fvcks about who is going to stay and build this country, I'm leaving regardless. I have my own personal reasons. 1. Job security in Nigeria is zero to none, Nigerian employer believes that he/she is doing you a favor. Imagine expecting a baby & losing your job as a Man, God forbid. This is kind of thing that happens in Nigeria. You will now be taking pay cuts. 2. Technical fields like Medicine, Nursing, Engineering, Tech & Software dev is of high value. So why would I stay here and collect peanuts when I'm valued in a better country. So this is just my opinion though. 24 Likes 4 Shares |
