Yeah Ethiopia has been and remain the poster child of famine - because most of it's is just vulnerable to droughts! Kudos for Ethiopean for turning around the fortunes of their country. I'll only add yams to that list; apparently nigeria now produce 100M tonnes of yams!

We've seen enough Ethiopian pictures. The late Kenyan award winning photographer Mohammed Amin did quite some good work. I have no beef with Ethiopeans and admire what they've did under- Meles Zenawi. I only wish Nigeria could get their Meles Zenawi or Paul Kagame. Their democracy is dysfunctional so this will have to come from the Army - somebody who can led Nigeria to path of progress...

Ethiopia moved from a basket case to bread basket in one generation under Meles Zenawi. When will Nigeria get theres?

I understand what you are saying but it is difficult get out of the mess nigeria is in.are People are not educated a hi number of us are illiterate even when somebody is trying to help we nigerians we fight them . That is why most people from other countries they just leave we nigerians to suffer it is difficult to help and illiterate. the person which can do nothing that is who we like in nigeria even we will be forcing other countries to support somebody which is totally useless we start fighting them to support criminals when we cannot see we are suffering in the nation.

The grainy is pollution from generators and cars. The black waters in the lagoon is raw sewage dump into the lagoon. I do not know why people waste their time putting lagos pictures this city is so dirty and polluted

While Nigeria's Lago infra can be summarized - as the bridge with the toll station - Nairobi has nearly all it's major road now super-highways- and there infra projects just about got started.

Nigeria - even with petro-dollars - cannot build such houses - they somehow think huge concrete monstrosity is architectural masterpiece.
