good day Sir sorry for not replying u back very early...since u said it is lightning what should have fault in the TV might be the main board but in some cases the power is also affected sir

firstly the main difference between a normal LCD and LED TV is that LCD TV makes use of fluorescent bulbs as their backlight while Led makes use of diode bulb(known as touch bulb in lame man's term) as their backlight...
secondly is that most Led TV have less power consumption compared to LCD TV with high power consumption... another difference is that led have less weight compared to lcd TV with more weight.....another difference is the programming of their board(and also their backlight) which leads to difference in their picture quality.....this is for normal LCD and LED TV.!.!.!.!.!.!
