A 600ml of water was added to 200ml of a 1.6M CaCl2 solution...what is the concentration of chloride in the new solution....(A) 0.4 (B) 0.8 (C) 1.2 (D) 5.6
PS....if u r in Ibadan,it will be of good help,if you can go to Team tutor...u will be expose to a lot of question like this....

(B) 0.888%

(D) 0.725%
...both question are wrong...
No 1.. Its simple BT wrong.....the most important aspect its just to mutiply the hydroxide concentration by 2 and then find POH.......PH = 14 - POH....

No 2....its also simple....percentage of ionisation
=( hydroxonium concentration/original acid present) × 100%...=( 8 × 10^-3/ 1) × 100...
= 0.8 %....there r some complicated question where hydroxonium ion concentration is not given but Ka is given....

This is the first question

Dry steam at 100°C is bubbled into 500g of water originally at 20°C. What will be the temperature of the water after 30g of steam has condensed? Specific latent heat of steam is 2.26*10^6J/k, specific heat capacity of water is 4200J/Kg/k


And this is the second question

Calculate the total energy required to evaporate completely 1kg of ice that is initially at -10°C.
Specific heat capacity of ice is 2.2x10^3J/Kg/K
Specific heat capacity of water is 4.18x10^3J/kg/k
Specific latent heat of ice is 3.34x10^5J/kg
Specific latent heat of vaporization of water is 2.26x10^6J/kg..

Reading group alert!!!...it begin 2nit...may 7 -
june7... recruitment is still going on....for science student,we are doing physics for one month....tonight we are doing 2 topics.."Work Energy and Power",Efficiency and Machine( levers,inclined plane,screw)... 1983 jamb pq...ui practice question related to the topics...
The outline of both topics will be given on whats app.. You can still join if you are interested..

For art and commercial student,you just choose the subject and topic you want to read...just make sure that you finish a subject in a month..
