Sir I admitted I could be wrong but I needed u to show me. Your evidence was simply not good enough since we all could simply look at the table and fixtures and determine what it is. It’s not complicated. It only took me less than a minute to realize this. BascoVanVeli: |

Joebie: Stoke City is still officially relegated coz they only a get a Match to play while Swansea has 2 Matches remain, but Westbrom still has a Shot till next Fixtures. Other Factors like H2H and Goals Differences have also officially relegated Stoke City. So officially Stoke City is in the Championship already. |

BascoVanVeli: Even Westham ain't safe yet. Brighton and Clubs above it are officially safe, but that does not mean Stoke City ain't relegated officially yet. |

Icon4s: Winning the last Match will only give them 3 Points, their Goals deficit compare to others is enough to confirm their Relegation. |

7 Super Eagles’ Memorable World Cup Moments With the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia fast approaching, Completesportsnigeria. com’s ADEBOYE AMOSU recalls seven evergreen moments in Nigeria’s participation at the mundial so far. These memories are bound to wet the appetite of the Super Eagles’ faithful ahead of Russia 2018. 1. Nigeria’s First Ever World Cup Goal By Rasheed Yekini Vs Bulgaria One of the greatest footballers to have played for the Super Eagles, Rasheed Yekini scored Nigeria’s first ever goal in a World Cup game at the 1994 edition in the United States of America. The side coached by Dutchman Clemens Westerhof defeated Bulgaria 3-0 with Daniel Amokachi and Amuneke getting the other goals. Yekini’s celebration after scoring, crying while holding the goal’s net became one of the iconic images of the tournament. 2. Daniel Amokachi’s Thunderbolt Vs Greece Fast, strong and reliable, Daniel Amokachi scored one of the best goals of the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the United States of America in Nigeria’s last group game against Greece. Deep into the second half’s stoppage time, Amokachi picked the ball up just outside the edge of the centre circle and proceeded to dink through the Greek defence. He left four defenders in his wake, shrugging them off with ease before firing an unstoppable effort from the edge of the box. His thunderbolt rocketed into the top corner passed the hapless Christos Karkamanis and ensured the Super Eagles finished top of the group on goal difference ahead of two-time world champions, Argentina. 3. Sunday Oliseh’s Super Strike Against Spain The Super Eagles went into their opening game against Spain at the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France as the underdogs, but shocked one of the pre- tournament favourites, Spain, 3-2 in the end. For most fans who watched the game, Sunday Oliseh’s superb third goal for the Super Eagles will forever remain evergreen in their memory. With the scoreline at 2-2, a throw-in in the Spanish half was headed clear by Fernando Hierro, Oliseh ran and fired an explosive shot from 25 yards that took Spanish goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta completely by surprise. 4. Vincent Enyeama’s Heroics Versus Messi-Inspired Argentina After his debut appearance against England at the 2002 FIFA World Cup co-hosted by Japan and South Korea, Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, made his second appearance at the 2010 tournament in South Africa. Enyeama was named man of the match in Nigeria’s first game of the tournament, a defiant display that restricted Argentina to a 1–0 win. It was Gabriel Heinze’s header in the sixth minute of the match that beat Enyeama. He made six fine saves against the two-time world champions, four of them from Lionel Messi. The then Argentina coach Diego Maradona praised him as the reason Messi was not able to score a goal. 5. Super Eagles Emphatic Win In First World Cup Game Vs Bulgaria The Super Eagles went to their maiden World Cup in the United States of America as African champions but few would have expected the manner of their dominance in the first game against the Hristo Stoikhov led Bulgarian side which they won 3-0. The team completely outplayed the Europeans and registered three super goals through the late Rasheed Yekini, Daniel Amokachi and Emmanuel Amuneke. 6. Ahmed Musa Brace Against Argentina Ahmed Musa two beautiful strikes against Argentina at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil was one of the biggest talking points of the tournament. Though the Super Eagles lost the final Group F match 3-2 to Argentina, they still progressed into the Second Round coming second behind the Albiceleste. Musa twice curled the ball from outside the area with Argentina goalkeeper, Sergio Romero failing to deal with his effort on both occasion. 7. Finidi George’s Dog-Peeing Goal Celebration Renowned at that time as the best right winger in Europe following his exploits at Dutch club, Ajax Amsterdam, Finidi George produced a fine finish in Nigeria’s 2-0 win against Greece, in their final group game at the 1994 World Cup in the United States of America. After receiving a long pass from the back, George lobbed the ball over the advancing goalkeeper and proceeded to mimick a urinating dog in goal ecstatic goal celebration. https://www.completesportsnigeria.com/7-super-eagles-memorable-world-cup-moments/ |

You are right. Hence, West Brom is relegated as well. Modified But that’s taking into consideration Southampton winning this game BascoVanVeli: |

Mathematically speaking it is assumed any team can win 100-0 even if it’s impossible unless the match is fixed Oasis007: |

Eduok and Omeruo benched as kasimpasa trash Trabzonspor away, 2-5. Onazi was cautioned in the 68th min and subbed off on the 79th. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 6:57pm On May 05, 2018 |
Oasis007: I agree Stoke are relegated but do you know they can still finish ahead of Swansea? Stoke are on 30points and on GD of -34 while Swansea are on 33points and GD of -26. Swansea faces Southampton and if Swansea loses by up to 3 or 4 nil their GD can drop down to -30. And on the last day if Stoke wins 2nil and Swansea loses 2 nil sef they will both be on 33points and GD of -32. Stoke will top them because they have scored more goals. The major reason Stoke have been relegated is because Southampton are playing Swansea. And both needed to lose their next two games for Stoke to survive. If it was goals difference Stoke still had a chance. 1 Like 1 Share |

MetalJigsaw: Before nko ac Milan is bigger than Chelsea,Chelsea wey begin win trophy 2004,so for your mind Chelsea is bigger than ac Milan ? do you think they delete history ? Chelsea is not a old club na,e just be like man city,Chelsea might be better than ac Milan at the moment ,but the ac boys will tell Chelsea they can talk when they win 7 champions league. If Chelsea fan will say Chelsea is bigger than Arsenal then ac Milan is bigger than Chelsea, because the Chelsea fan know how to insult Arsenal just because they have 1 champions league trophy. How many champions league have you watch Madrid win ? thou I don't know your age,but I am sure you have watch Madrid win only 4 champions league, where is the remaining 8 during the 60s ? You even get mind dey call Arsenal, what's their European history ? 2 Likes |

Sometimes, one cannot help but admire the honesty of the Barclay's English premiership. Who could imagine an Everton team with absolutely nothing to play for, went at it full blast to score a last minute equalizer against Southampton. Reverse is the case in my country. Something must give. Who recalls how Akwa Utd got promoted back in 2006 when they recorded a 13 nil victory on the final day, they needed exactly 12 nil to secure promotion. This is reason I hate that club with passion. I celebrated when they were knocked out of the Caf competition. The honesty of the English premiership is worthy of emulation by the football universe. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

andrew444:I think we are having 5 keepers in the proposed 35 man list and Rohr so far used and invited 7 keepers as a Nigeria coach namely Carl Ikeme,Daniel Akpeyi,Ikechuckwu Ezenwa, Francis Uzoho,Dele Ajiboye,Dele Alampasu and Emma Daniel, out of these 7,pls pick your 5 unless Rohr is considering the likes of Aiyenugba,Ejide and Maduka then Alampasu out |
