No doubt, the performance was energetic. I think the fault lie with hiptv the broadcast is quite poor. when the artistes sing their mouth don't corelate.

HipTv has always had that problem, but let's give them some credit. The stage is beautiful and the show is better organised this year. Great improvement.

I voted and I followed the campaign for votes for various artistes on social media and Aramide wasn't in the running. It was clearly a battle between Adekunle Gold, Reminisce and Johnny drille on social media and that's why I'm surprised at the winner because I didn't see any campaign going on for her

I'm not hating on them and I really want the headies to succeed but they're lacking something, they're not properly organized yet. The show is just dry, the hosts we're kinda boring like they didn't blend well together. Generally the show itself just looked poorly organized and nothing special.

I hope they get it right.

Also I didn't like that about half of the winners didn't receive their awards themselves.
