A friend of mine Nigerian who studied Bsc med tech (outside of the US) ...went visiting on holiday to the U.S. and saw a med tech night shift job in a remote location. ...night shift only . She probably was the only applicant...lol . Applied got in and they filed her h1b ... barely 2 years they filed her green card

She had her green card and moved on to clinical research CRA making good money. So she defined the stat that she didn't spend a cent on been a master student and was in the US on b1b2

If you have a background in creative arts or Insurance, don't let anyone fool you into thinking you'd be a complete failure here unless you switched to an engineering or nursing program. I asked you a very simple question and intentionally asked for no additional information. You added more info trying to push a narrative that can only work with the gullible. Nice try.

Going for OPT/H1B using the STEM route is a good idea, my point is... that's just one way, it's not the only way. Those who can't go that way are not doomed. There are countless student immigrants who did nothing close to STEM, there are also countless STEM graduates who never got a job to sponsor their greencards and got stuck in the end.

You already answered my question and confirmed that yes, there's at least someone who immigrated as a student without STEM. I encourage people who plan and stay positive. There are different ways in life to solve problems. I'll keep my opinion open until someone proves it wrong. People defy odds! See: Obama.

There is no hard rule to this but it is always advisable to use personal account. If you use a corporate account, you will have to explain why a company is sponsoring you which is hard to explain.

First you need to search for schools at least school among best 300 schools in the United State, when you get your preferred schools at least 3.
Apply and pay for your application fees, most schools is $30 to $50 but some are $70 if am right.

If your school needed you to Evaluate your result then you have to contact WES for evaluation, you can do that by registering on WES website https://www.wes.org/ you will be given a reference code which you will use to apply for your transcript in your school.

Take a standardizes test GRE for Masters

Admission takes a while so always contact the admission office of international student of your school, when you are fully admitted you can now to go the next stage which is collecting your I-20 from the school. Note during the process of admission there are other things you will need to send to the school by courier which your choice of school will tell you.

There are trust worthy people here when the time for you to pay for sevis reach, sevis is $200
F1 Visa fee right now is 57,400

Please I am trying to schedule my visa interview appointment on the US visa application site but I'm late and my preferred date is past. Someone advised that I monitor the site and keep reloading the home page to get a preferred date. The problem I have is that this is the 3rd time I am being blocked from the site. The site prevents me from logging in within 48hours and then gives me back the access and after I try reloading the home page for a day or 2 they block me again. I need a date between the end of May and first week of June.
PLEASE IS THERE A TRICK I CAN USE SO I DONT KEEP GETTING BLOCKED AND I GET THE DATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Once you log in to your visa application page, click on "update profile" you'll see a part where you can edit your ds-160 confirmation number. You should delete the old one and put the new code you generated and you save it. It takes at least 72hours for it to update tho

If i may ask when last did you use this process because the last time i used it, it doesn't work unless you use provide feedback to contact the embassy and give the the new code for them to do it for you over there..
