SmooshCHN: Two reason skip said that. One he hates derozan because he sonned him when skip said those foolish things right after Hayward got injured. Two, he's trying to build them up so he rips LeBron when he loses. I don't even know why people take that clown seriously, he thrives on shock value for viewership |

birdman:Demar Derozan at the Interview on Cleveland Cavaliers he says "Maybe they just got our numbers".. This guy is an idiot.. Last year he said "We would have won if we also had LeBron on our team".. Like how the fúck are you even an NBA player with this mentality? I can't with a guy like this abeg. We can't be teammates if this is how you think.. His lack of toughness would definitely spreads in the locker room anyways. |

Rodney Hood lost his spot to Cedi Osman and refused to check into the game yesterday |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:24pm On May 08, 2018 |
donlittle25: Yuuup. Pretty petulant from him considering how poorly he's been playing. At least I won't feel bad if the Cavs refuse to resign him during free agency. We need that cap space. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 2:33pm On May 08, 2018 |
Trae Young is projected to be an 8th or 9th pick in the 2018 draft, a similar region where the Cavs pick is projected (could be higher especially given the Cavs history of lucky draft picks). Thats right, I'm jumping on the hype train. Trae Young is the next Steph Curry. It's brons plan.

NictisZorander:I like and agree with Skip Bayless. Skip will get the last laugh when the Warriors wipe the floor with Lebron's Cavs in the final. |

Roland17:Law of averages! We were 9-1 H2H against them so they were due a win. The turnovers and odd man rushes we allowed also didn't help matters never mind our over reliance on Sidney Crosby! He was on the ice for 13 of the 14 goals the Pens scored all series I'm disappointed in Kessel and Malkin not to mention the mid season acquisition Brassard who has looked like an absolute bust. Back to back Stanley Cups is not beans sha and Ovy can only slay his demons if he gets to a Stanley Cup final. After seeing how the Lightning destroyed the Bruins I'm not counting on it |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:31pm On May 08, 2018 |
donlittle25:Hood has always been a mental midget. He has the ability to be a 2nd more likely 3rd scoring option on a contending team but his mental softness was well documented even in Utah. I'm sure the Cavs thought playing next to Bron would help but truth is it's not every patient that would respond to treatment |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:43pm On May 08, 2018 |
I think it's a damn shame that there are even whispers that Casey's job is on the line, what do you do when your best player is unwilling to put up a fight and at least play like the all-star you say you are! DeRozan's numbers have been a crying disgrace |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 3:53pm On May 08, 2018 |
A40: My conclusion from watching them play as well. They just don't have what it takes and the vast majority of their players are grossly overrated. Lowry and DeRozan included. He did his best as far as I'm concerned. I'm more surprised the headlines aren't reading that Casey is about to quit. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:22pm On May 08, 2018 |
NictisZorander:They ran into a Cavs team with all their secondary scorers clicking, Lowry and DeRozan are good but not great players! I think their regular season record really brought about unrealistic expectations akin to the 60 win Hawks of a few years back I can't say enough of how big a disappointment DeRozan was in this series averaging 16pts per game!!! A supposed star The real problem for the Raptors is that they have so much tied on Lowry. DeRozan and Ibaka that they are stuck with them another two years at least! They better just pray OG. FVV and Siakam keep improving because the Celtics and Sixers are better placed to topple the Cavs in the future as it stands |
Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 4:29pm On May 08, 2018 |
Y'all heard Russ is working to be a great three point shooter next season?? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:06pm On May 08, 2018 |
A40: That hawks team is the perfect analogy for these raptors. A 60 win one seed led by friggin Millsap and Korver who were also supposed to have a bench mob who also got swept. LOL For derozan, I think the Cavs used the same tactic that suffocated Vic in some games in the first round only in this case it was much more successful. The core of the team as they are won't win anything and those players you mentioned have a very limited ceiling and given the growing torns in the east recently the raptors should just try to blow everything up and rebuild. As for the Cavs, did you not hear? LeBron is staying, Paul George is coming and they're drafting trae young/Mikal bridges or even doncic or Bagley or ayton or porter Williams or any of the many special talents in this loaded draft class. If they play their cards right, they'll be good for at least 3 to 5 more years. 1 Like |

Saw an article today...NBA teams think its time to move Russ.....Do you all think its time for a change at OKC or Russ could still come through at OKC..... |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 1:03am On May 09, 2018 |
aliondo: The time to move Russ and get a good deal has passed. The league understands what he is, superstar iso player, exciting but unableto lead a team effectively. Plus its a bad look for okc to make this move after Russ pledged his loyalty... this by itself could affect the quality of agents willing to enter this mess. Best thing is for okc to hold its nose and ride it out. And pay a babalawo to give Russ a change of heart this offseason |

Re: The NBA Begins by aliondo: 2:23am On May 09, 2018 |
Eruditor:Yh it is generally...Asides the warriors, their three point shooting is amazing...Bad thing is if the three point shooting does not go their way, they hardly win..... |

this mitchell dey worry... |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:53am On May 09, 2018 |
aliondo: Yea that was my point; that their 3pt shooting is not exactly great. They are only high volume 3pt shooters. But their offense is great. |

I believe Jazz would have done better with Rubio. His ball handling would have helped in some situations Cris Paul is going crazy. |
