While Nigeria paid tonnes of money to foreigners to build and launch their sat (each I think cost 30M dollars ) - Kenya's UON has build it's small satellite and it's will go blasted to the space - all these for something like 1M dollars.
Known as the First Kenyan University Nano Satellite—Precursor Flight (1KUNS-PF), the satellite is a product of University of Nairobi, in collaboration with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)’s Japanese Experiment Module “Kibo Programme” and United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA).
The 10-by-10-by-10 cube satellite will have several benefits for Kenya which include weather forecasting, earth mapping, environmental and animal observation and will also be used in assisting the multimedia sector in the country.

There is no Tigray as a whole domination. It’s just that most of the higher officials are Tigray but the ordinary mass Tigray are being subjected just like the rest.

Will Abyi stop Tigray officials domination in the government? Well he might reduce it but can’t stop it. TPLF is a nazi organization and it’s higher members wants to continue the revenge by being in power to the end. He will be dictated under TPLF system. Tigray regional president said that it’s a group work.

The mutual defence pact is a security agreement between Kenya and Ethiopia that was signed by Haille Sellasie and Jomo Kenyatta back then when Somalia was trying to grow horns. If you remember, the Somalis wanted Somali regions in both Kenya and Ethiopia to be liberated by force and they even started open war in north eastern Kenya to free their brothers. It was known as the Shifta War.

So, Kenyatta and Sellasie decided to sign a mutual defense pact which essentially prevents the two countries from aggressing each other and to come to the aid of each other in case of an attack (of course in mind were the Somalis). Back then Somalis were the bad boys and were causing a lot of trouble not like now when we see them like a lost cause. Basically, the defence pact is all about Somalia to keep their bad tendencies in check.

Interesting. Preparing is good but like you said, Somalia is nowadays lost cause. In addition, both should bring the ordinary Kenyan and Ethiopian together. Both ppl can indeed go to the other without Visa. I heard many non refugee Ethiopians live in Kenya and I was happily to be honest. But I don’t see many Kenyans here or it might be just me. You might see me one day walking in Nairobi as a native.

I think Addis Abeba expansion plan will be halted for the time being so I think he will stay quite about it.

I watched a doctor about Boko Haram last week on Aljezera. It was disturbing. It shows that Boko Haram isn’t solely to be blamed because Nigerian army was as bad as them from early on around that area.

Dangote didn't necessarily jump ship because of competition. He only rescheduled the building of a factory in Kenya. i think around 2020 ish. Dangote faces competition in Nigeria and is a multinational with planned expansions in Asia. Dangote has no reson to fear competion in Kenya.

God help him. I know that he is a hard working man who is loved by his employees and a very successful man. He used to work for Ethiopian safety and security (tecnology) and he made a lot of changes where a lot of people admired him. You won't get big if you can't handle the little. . . .I hope he will bring change if they gave him freedom. And plus he is Oromo


Even if I believe he is the right man for this position. . .I fear what could happen next time if we brought a new PM with different tribe cuz Oromos are very difficult to handle.

Vodafone is the largest shareholder and the managing partner in Safaricom, owning 40% of the stake. You make it sound like it's a purely local enterprise. Safaricom also owns over 70% market share of mobile subscribers in Kenya making it almost a monopoly. MTN Nigeria's 2016 revenue figures was N870 billion which is about $2.4 billion in today's money (dropped from previous years after Naira value crash) and they have 35% market share of registered subscribers.

u truly have comprehension problems. Simply because ur currency is 3-4X Nigerian currency doesn't mean u earn 3-4X higher salaries.

Ur docs earn ksh200,000 and Nigerian docs earn #250,000. Ur docs may spend ksh150,000 on utilities and necessities every month and Nigerian docs may spend #175,000 monthly on exact expenditure, so where's d higher salaries here?

Hmm, seems like ET as well as Nigeria and most African countries always have 'higher members of the govt'(cabals) who are the brains behind everything that happens in a country.

So, do you mean that Tigray masses are not enjoying higher standards of living or favoured by the govt more than other Ethiopians?

If yes, then I guess that is exactly the same scenario with us here in Nigeria.
Here in Nigeria, it is the Hausa-fulani elites who dominate the government but in spite of that, the Hausa-fulani masses are still the poorest and the least educated.

Yes you are right. Apparently there seems to be some infiltration into the Nigerian army. There are saboteurs and Boko haram informants in the army.

Boko haram may never end cos it is heavily politicized. Boko haram also get continous expensive ammunition supply from the politically unstable Libya and porous borders with Niger republic.
