I've learnt something about alters today.


Alters are places where god(s) are honoured.

This happens when a person sets apart a place where they consecrate/or desecrate depending on the kind of subject of worship.


They can be holy (God's ) or unholy (gods/demons)

God honours Alters after a sacrifice is given from it. (This should be taken in the spiritual sense of worship too. The body is your temple)


The holy alter is at a place chosen by God.

For example: Judah (after split with Israel to the North in the days of Jeroboam) had the temple in Jerusalem (which is special due to the specific instructions used in its establishment). Jeroboam built his own temple to keep his people in the North. An abomination. It was rejected. The difference between the two in the spiritual sense and in relation to modern Spirituality, is acceptable sacrifices (mercy, peace, joy, praise, thankgiving etc ) versus iniquity (self, and things God says he hates like fornication etc) Remember, your body is the temple so this are things you are offering in your spirit.


Use of Alters for witchcraft
For now, the focus is on witchcraft. Sometimes workers of powers of darkness Bind people in regression, failure, decease, and all kinds of creepy thing things using the concept of alters. The family alters above used for petitions for the families good luck can come with negative effects not only to the family but also to outsiders when sacrifices and petitions are made against them.

They offer items associated to their victims. Some families just have known alters where all kinds of petitions are made to ancestors (I remember watching something similar in a Chinese Soap opera).

The alters can be broken
The alters can be broken by raising an alter to God. The almighty.

For example:
Watch what Elijah did. The land - after Jeroboam's alter - was defiled. The North resorted to idolatry. The Idolatry was sanctioned by the Rulers. So this was no joke of an alter. He could not just rush to killing the prophets of baal so long as the alters of baal spiritually reigned over Israel. So Elijah did this:

He challenged the prophets of Baal on the mountain. Let them make an alter, and let him make one for his God, and the real God should answer by fire. Long story short, God chose Elijah's alter and when he did, the power of baal was broken and he slay the false prophets by the sword. Then God brought back rain.

That is a perfect example of breaking of demonic alters - raising God's alter. And offering an acceptable sacrifice to God as you make your petition.

I love this. This is a critical aspect of spirituality that Christians are neglecting. Beyond congregational worship, there is need for personal consecration unto God. There is need for personal alter and sacrifice. Unbelievers do this more than believers. U wonder why most Christians suffer lack, they have refused to pay the price. It's all about sacrifice

You cannot feed anyone the blood of Jesus Christ since He never gave you permission to doinh such with His blood and in His name.

You can't sprinkle His blood or bath in it either. The only permission He gave to you where His blood is concerned is in the drinking of it, this in remembrance of the New Covenant agreement between God and man.

Washing, sprinkling and feeding blood to demons is not of Jesus Christ, neither is the blood of Him. Jesus Christ never taught His followers to erect Altars in His name, nor did He teach of them . These beliefs in things that were not taught of by Jesus Christ is typical example of Congregational Christianity that you practice here. .

I'm not arguing with u....its all over scriptures....the cross typified his death. Did he died on the floor or inside water? Didn't he died on the cross? That's a mode of communication. If you don't understand that simple mood of communication im not arguing with you.

The cross TYPIFIED his death and was symbolized in the OT as an altar where he died. Those who understood this knows that it is NOW FULFILLED IN THE NT, no longer to symbol or types or shadows. This cross IS NOW A MESSAGE IN THE NT. That's why I asked you earlier....if you hear or read the cross NOW, what are you thinking about? Wood, stick or his death? Jesus Christ taught that Obedience is the key in the Kingdom of God. Those who are worthy of Him are those who submit to and obey His teachings and commandments. So what you are saying is that the Spirit of God contradicts the Truth of God?

I am afraid i am not the one fooling you here. Instead, you should look to that spirit you claim to have for the source of the foolishness here. Don't you see that this spirit you claim has absolutely nothing to do with God there, and this because God doesn't lie and His own Spirit would never contradict Jesus Christ in anyway of form.
