donlittle25: Depends on the version on Curry that shows up. If we gets to see the Curry that always make CP looks average even when having a great game then I agree Warriors in 4. Curry and Klay needs to show up especially at the 3 points contest. Trust me, it's a three points contest series 1 Like |

Basketball is really a funny odd game. Who would have expected less talented teams like the Bucks and Pacers to give the Celts and Cavs much more problems like the relatively deeper Sixers and Raptors side The opening night's games are the Conference Finals lineup. The NBA is rigged people! As good as I thought the Celts were I didn't expect them to dispatch the Sixers with this much ease, in fact but for foul trouble with many of their key players this could have been a sweep. I don't know how they are going to do it against the Cavs especially if the other Cavaliers show up but I know I'd be looking forward to Lebron vs Jayson Tatum. I mean Donovan Mitchell was good but Tatum is just killing it quietly shooting at 58% FFS I think the Cavs should still win but Boston would put up a much tougher fight than last year thanks to Rozier's maturation and the fact that Boston's best player isn't 5'9. I hope the Celtics can at least Game 1 so we are assured an entertaining series |

A40: Personally I believe most sports (if not all) are rigged. NBA can make LeBron the goat this year if they want to. Jordan is a past tense imo. He was good and made as well. |

Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 1:11pm On May 11, 2018 |
A40: Goal tending was horrible. Peka conceded some very cheap goals, particularly the first one which instilled some confidence in the jets. Taking him out did not resolve the abysmal goal tending as Saro was even worse. My guy Suban had a good playoffs if you ask me, the offense was not bad especially the first with Johansson but the 2nd and particularly the 3rd looked uncomfortable. One of the reasons I love the NHL and hockey in general is the fact that home ice really means nothing. Congrats to the Jets, they missed the playoffs last year but this year they are in the conference finals. Not sure what the predators would do with their roster. As for my blackhawks, next season is the last chance for coach Quenville because we don't do mediocrity. The core of the roster will stay but we neee some good trades and hopefully pick better in the upcoming draft. Remember I told you the NHL is designed to promote dynasties? That is another reason I love it. For the sake of his legacy I pray Ovy nicks this year's Stanley cup. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:51pm On May 11, 2018 |
Roland17:Rinne is a good goalie but his floor is unacceptable for any team trying to win a Stanley Cup. He was sub .900 in their home games this postseason and that never gets the job done. Subban is a good player when he's not diving however Yanshville lost ultimately due to its poor home record! What is the use of winning President's trophy only to go 3-5 on home ice and completely defeat its purpose. They always started games sluggishly and unfortunately ran into a Jets team dripping with underrated firepower. Scheifele, Wheeler and Statsny all killers which means they didn't even need Patrik Laine or Kyle Connor to show up. Lol for the Blackhawks who do you bring if you fire Quenneville? I think that dynasty has ended! Toews, Hossa , Keith , Kane and Seabrook will not bring another cup to the Hawks as the core ever again Nothing for Ovi. They ran into a gassed Pittsburgh team with Kessel and Malkin completely useless. Tampa would kpo kpo them in 5 games |

Toronto Raptors fire Dwayne Casey. Thee're problem just really got started. |

End of the road for D. Casey with the Lizards. I guess the coach of the year award was not enough conviction for the Lizards. I expect him to get another gig in the NBA immediately but I think he was part of the problem with the Lizards. They needed to change how they played but he was too rigid with his system. You don't demand accountability in the post-season by benching your best player when you encouraged the same style of play in the regular season. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23471720/toronto-raptors-fire-head-coach-dwane-casey-7-seasons |

Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:10pm On May 11, 2018 |
Wow this is pathetic! It's Casey's fault that DeRozan is a mental midget? Is this his reward for transforming the Raptors from a joke to a contender in the East? Wow these organizations don't deserve any kind of loyalty. If I were Casey I'd go to Milwaukee just out of spite and pettiness! Giannis isn't a mental midget like DeFrozen and if he keeps working on his J he could be the next James |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:14pm On May 11, 2018 |
Roland17:He was just desperate!! It's not his fault DeFrozen is a mental midget! He had to try something and anything to get a much needed spark Brad Stevens is COY tbh but Casey built this team from ground up. If they think they are going to pull a Golden State a la Mark Jackson they are sadly mistaken |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 5:41pm On May 11, 2018 |
A40: You see, this is the problem I have with coaches who fail to make their superstars accountable to the team. DeRozan and Lowry for the longest time since Casey's reign in Toronto have gotten away with poor performances in the post season and that is how the sense of entitlement started. They believed they were untouchables and Casey did not address this sense of entitlement which led to more issues. I understand Casey got desperate but guess what, during the regular season, he encouraged DeRozan to attempt more 3 points which led to a significant increase in his percentage during the regular season but still below average. When playoff's started, they reverted to what they knew best and looked clueless most times until when Casey decided to bench DeRozan. Which begs my question, why bench your superstar for a crime you encouraged throughout the regular season? I don't think Casey should be coach of the year, I would personally take Quinn Synder ahead of him since they have chosen to black ball Brad Stevens. |

birdman: I know your jinxing machinations. You jinxed Raptors and now you wanna jinx GSW. E go shock you. Your prophecy will come to pass. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:49pm On May 11, 2018 |
Roland17:Casey will not teach DeRozan how to be more assertive on offense or shoot better. Me I believe Casey is also a victim of his success because this Raptors team no too good like that. However they were good enough to avoid a sweep Lowry 13th year in the league. DeRozan 9th year in the league. These guys should be like assistant coaches on the floor. I think for DeRozan becoming a better facilitator and 3pt shooter was a doctrine of necessity. The past version of DeRozan had a predictable ceiling. However the biggest issue with DeRozan was mental. He is the extreme opposite of Westbrook and neither approach would ever get it done. His game is similar to Oladipo's but see how they both performed. Benching DeRozan was the right call because he was hurting the team |

They will tell you he needed KD, they won't tell you he bullied him and Russ in win or go home games. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAIoSTXGw3U God will forever punish Adam Silver for rigging game 5 and 6 in 2016 finals. Harrison Barnes for going 5/32 from 3 (wide open) in games 5, 6 and 7 and the Refs who let Curry get pushed and shoved off the ball to no end especially in game 6. Same people will tell you 2015 had an asterisk because many teams we faced had injuries but they won't tell you, Curry was injured in 2016, Bogut was injured in game 4, Iggy had back spasms and Draymond was suspended. All they would keep saying is 73-9. 2 Likes |
